Product Description

The New Balance? 576 men's walking shoe is all about comfort. It's crafted using a full-grain leather upper that is soft and comfortable. The Walking Strike Path? outsole keeps your foot stable during your walks, while the reflective details provide excellent visibility for your safety in low-light conditions.

Take each step with an enhanced sense of security thanks to a stability rollbar that minimizes rearfoot movement, lessening the chance of the foot rolling too much inward or outward. Stay active, stay steady on your feet, and stay on the move!

Customer Reviews:

  • All day comfort
My wife bought these shoes for me. I was looking for NB 575. I have been wearing NB for years and have never been disappointed with any of there products. I spend a minimum of 9 hrs walking on concrete (warehouse conditions) these shoes provide me with ample support and comfort through out the day. I will no doubt be purchasing NB shoes in the future. If you are looking for comfort, good look, great construction, these are it...more info

  • I came back and bought a second pair
I want to contribute to these reviews because Amazon reviews can lead to unexpected destinations and be very educational in themselves.
I bought these shoes which were shipped quick. I liked the shoes and ordered a second pair for later. I was afraid they wouldn't fit but I ordered the same size as my old older model of New Balance shoes and they fit fine. I think these are sold a half size larger than I usually buy so that is what you will need to satisfy for yourself.
It's great not having to tie the darn shoes all the time.
    Happy walking....more info

  • Foot killer
These are the worst New Balance Shoes I have ever worn. I have been wearing NB for approx 5 yrs and these make my feet hurt so bad at the end of the day that I can't hardly walk in the evening. I should have sent them back but 30 days already passed by. I tried them and then waited a couple of days and tried again and every time my feet hurt so bad. I don't know what is wrong with this model but the sole is like concrete and not the same kind of flexibility like the others also the heel doesn't have the same cushioning either. The other that I have worn was the 574 and the 574. It seems like the higher the number the worse the shoe gets and the price goes up as well. Now I have to find another brand of shoe to wear for work, I need an all black shoe....more info
  • Nice shoe but TIGHT fit...
I might have rated this one a 4 star or even a 5 had it lived up to all my expectations; however two things prevented that, costing a star apiece. 1.) The shoe is (at least was for me) tight for shoes of similar size I'd purchased, so I'd go a letter wider. I LIKE New Balance shoes, and do about 1,000-1,500 miles of walking a year and can generally get a good year to 18 monts out of a pair of their shoes which I find quite adequate and MUCH better priced than the brands that make all the commercials. I genuinely LIKE the velcro overstraps, as I was constantly either pulling, or tripping over the strings on the stringed shoes. However you do seem to compromise a little on comfort when you go for that convenience, and for me--comfort is a must as I pay dearly for it after one of my lengthy walks in an improperly fitted shoe. 2.) It seems sized a bit higher than it actually is. I genuinely wear an 8 1/2, and while the right shoe fit okay, the left was so uncomfortably tight that I had to use a shoe stretcher for 10 days. All that notwithstanding, once broken in, the shoes are a nice fit and wear well--certainly at least as good as the pricey brands. So I give it 3/5... and advise get it about 1/2 size larger than your normal fit (at least that would have made it a much better fit for me--so weigh this carefully as you can't return footwear once you get it--or at least I would think not.)
