The microwave was just as ordered. It works well andhas more power than our previous microwave. The door was stuck after shipment but, works well now. Very good shipping also....more info
  • Panasonic vs. Sharp
I bought the Panasonic because I was intrigued by the "Inverter Defrosting" feature. I've used it for a month and find that this machine doesn't defrost any better than my old Sharp Carousel. The "Sensor" programs are more complicated than I need and don't show the duration and power level of the cooking process. It annoys me to have to push the Power Level button repeatedly in order to select the power level instead of using the numeric pad. The glass door is so dark that I can't monitor the cooking process. I hope that this machine has a shorter life span than my old Sharp. ...more info

I bought this model at Wal-mart, and came to Amazon to check for price comparison (Looking for microwave as a christmas present). I've been very happy with purchase. Microwave looks very nice, I have mine sitting on a stand. Nice features, large capacity, powerful, quiet, and heats very quickly/evenly. Would definitley recommend this product based on the performance of the one I purchased. Amazon plus-10 or 15 dollars cheaper than what I paid....more info

Panasonic NN-SN657S 1300-Watt 1-1/5-Cubic-Foot Sensor Microwave Oven, Stainless Steel
I took quite a bit of time looking into what micro to buy. This sounded great BUT - it is very light in weight for the size so it moved a lot just to open the door (so I set it in corner at an angle which stops the problem) - The biggest problem is the extreme heat of the micro. Things burn or harden easily. I even set the micro at 50% heat and still have a problem. I push the 'sensor reheat' and that does no good. I've had my coffee overflow from that many times, had freezer food come out with burns, much trouble with pop-corn (that I never used to have trouble with) food in pockets comes out so hard I cant eat most of it. I was still thinking I loved the micro until I started writing this down. I just don't know what else to do. So maybe others should be aware of this. ...more info
  • So far so good.
So far so good. I believe that we had the older version of this one and it lasted several years. This seems to heat faster and quieter. Would recommend it....more info

We LOVE this microwave oven. It is small enough to fit in the boxed space in our cabinetry provided by the cabinet people. It is the exact size for the space. Not only that, but this microwave heats lightning fast! Normally putting soup in the microwave we had to heat it for about 4 or 5 minutes for it to be hot. Now it takes about 2 minutes. 1300 watts is a big difference. The price was right. I did a lot of research on microwaves. I wanted a stainless steel look as well. This is really a nice one as far as I am concerned. I'd buy it for any family member that's how much I feel that it is a great product. Shipping was perfect. No dents, no bruises....more info
  • Great....while it lasted
We bought this model at Target and tonight it died in the middle of warming dinner. We liked the features on this microwave very much. We purchased this microwave within the past 12 months. So be warned that it doesn't have a long life. There are other reviews on Target's website that I read tonight that they also had the same short life as our's did....more info
