Product Description

BOB Revolution 12 All Wheel Stroller has all the maneuverability and versatility of the Revolution stroller kicked up a notch. Smaller wheels enable increased mobility in crowded aisles and cramped elevators. The lightest of the Revolution strollers, its just as easy to fold up for travel and storage. Unlock the swiveling front wheel to easily navigate around tight corners and shopping aisles, or lock the front wheel forward for jogging. Three inches of suspension and on/off-road tires give the child a smooth, nap-inducing ride.

The BOB Revolution 12" AW stroller is the most adaptive, versatile stroller for the urban family. What is truly "revolutionary" about the stroller is the pivoting front wheel that swivels for nimble and agile movement. The Revolution turns on a dime, but the innovation does not stop there. The front wheel can lock into a fixed position for jogging or off-road use.

The strong, welded frame is made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy that is lightweight and durable—weighing 21.9 pounds. The padded, stain-resistant seat is soft and cushy, reclines up to 70 degrees from vertical, and has the standard five-point harness to provide maximum stability and comfort. The full sun canopy provides ample shade and protection from the elements for your little passengers. The canopy window allows you to keep an eye on baby as well. The suspension system sports three-inch coil springs with an elastomer core and two settings for bigger and smaller children, and it has 12.5-inch semi-slick, all-purpose tires. The smaller tires make for a more maneuverable and compact stroller for use in tight spaces. The wheel rims are aluminum alloy with stainless steel spokes, and the hubs feature a quick release axle and sealed cartridge bearings. The caliper handbrake slows the stroller with ease, while the foot-activated "parking brake" is simple and handy. Storage is not a problem with twin interior seat pockets, a large below-seat storage basket, and a deep seatback pocket. The two-step fold can be done in one motion, and the lightweight frame makes it portable and stowable. Removing the wheels decreases the height and length when storage space is limited. The handlebar height is 40.6 inches, and the wheel base is 25.4 inches in swivel mode or 30.9 inches in jogging mode.

The stroller is ideal for urban spaces and terrain, and the ride and styling can only be described as luxurious. The smartest feature by far is the ability to switch from a pivoting to a locked front wheel that allows the BOB Revolution stroller to be one of the most versatile and maneuverable strollers available. BOB recommends that children be at least eight weeks old before riding in the stroller and at least eight months old before jogging. The Sport Utility stroller has a weight capacity of 70 pounds. --Scott Teal

  • Bob stroller
I purchased the 'Bob' because of my pregnant daughter-in-law's wish to have one. She analyzed several strollers and decided this was one of the very best. It is easy to fold down and put in the car as well as easy to pop up for use. The only thing I don't like is that you have to buy every accessory--and it's amazing how many accessories one needs!...more info
  • Excellent!
This stroller is everything you could ask for and more. It is light weight and easy to use. The kids love it too!...more info
I own 3 strollers, the BOB, a Maclaren & a very nice Peg. I have to say, hands down, the BOB is the best stroller ever. Even though it's technically a "jogger" I use it all the time, shopping for clothes, a little trip to the local grocery store, whatever b/c it is so easy. I have owned the stroller for over a year and it is in PERFECT condition, no squeaking, nothing has broken or torn, it's absolutely wonderful. I am looking forward to having #2 so that I can purchase my double - that's how much I love this thing!...more info
  • love my BOB duallie
Did a lot of research before purchasing this double stroller. I now have three daughters (5, 3 and 3 mos)and wanted something great for outside walks but also to use in malls. This stroller fits through our house doorways and makes moving around the mall a breeze. When walking around our neighborhood, one of my older girls will walk and I can hold her hand and steer the stoller easily with one hand. Just got this stroller a month ago and have not had any problems. Looking forward to cruising around parks, malls, neighborhood with ease....more info
  • WORTH every penny
Yeah, it's a bit pricey but well worth it. It handles like a dream and turns on a dime. When I'm not moving and my son starts getting bored and fussy, I can just turn it around and around in place with only a couple of fingers. I'm so in love with our BOB that we use it every where and for every occassion and rarely does it get used for it's intended purpose - jogging.

    1) Easy to assemble - no screws to deal with
    2) Excellent maneuverability
    3) Child seems comfortable
    4) Huge sun canopy with a large peek-a-boo window on the top
    5) Easy to fold up
    6) It's no heavier than a standard stroller

There are only two minor complaints I have on the BOB:
    1) I wished there was a better mechanism to keep the BOB closed besides the velcro strap that you wrap around the handles.

    2) Since I use the BOB every where, it can become top heavy if you hang bags from the handle of the BOB that it may tip backwards. I don't know if this is a problem just with the BOBs that have 12" wheels or if the standard BOB revolution does this too. But keep in mind, the makers of the BOB made this stroller for jogging and not to lug around loads of stuff from the handle bar.

I highly recommend this stroller to everyone. Too bad I didn't know about it sooner because I would have saved myself a couple hundreds of dollars that I spent on a Graco.

  • Best Double Stroller
This stroller is very easy to maneuver around the bumpy streets and the mall. My 2 1/2 years old and my 5 month old love the stroller. Very nice comfortable seat. The 5 point harness seatbelt is great to keep them safe and in place. I love this stroller. Even my Dad who pushed this stroller when we were at the mall was amazed how light it was to push around. The swivel front wheel lets you get around tight corners. Best double stroller....more info
  • great stroller!
This is a great stroller for two babies. We have a two year old who is very big (40 lbs) and a 9mo. old who is also big (25 lbs) and they fit great in this stroller. It's the only stroller my 2 yr. old sleeps in (reclined). We use it for walks and for around town. It fits through standard doorways. It's lightweight for such a big stroller and fits in the back of our Honda Oddysey van. Highly recommend it !!...more info
  • LOVE this stroller
My husband and I go for walks nearly every day so this stroller is perfect for us. It can withstand A LOT of use. I have to complain about the basket underneath. It doesn't hold much and won't even hole my purse. We have the handle bar console to hold keys phones wallets and water bottles but I have to leave my purse in the car. Other than that it is great. It even fits through the airport security scanners if folded (duh) and flipped upside down. ...more info
  • Great stroller
I have two strollers and this is by far the best one. The fabric is not as luxurious as the Bugaboo, but it is easy to fold and unfold and maneuvers beautifully. I have yet to go jogging in it but for hoping around town I stopped using the Bugaboo. Just way less hassle to lug it around....more info
  • LOVE it--Well worth the money
I was a little skeptical, but live in a rural area & work in an urban one, so needed one stroller that can do everything. This one does, and I can get it folded/unfolded and in and out of the car with one hand. I got the fleece fuzzy thing and cupholder accessory for it, and couldn't be happier. I really like the giant bonnet on it, too--great coverage & protection. The best part is that my husband likes it and doesn't mind being seen with it. Really is worth the $$....more info
  • I love this product!
I am cheap. I got most of my son's stuff used on Craigslist. After all, I am a student. And I am going to be an intern. We are not going to have money for awhile. However this is the one item that I splurged on. My son was colicky and I went for LOTS of long walks with him. He needed to be in constant motion. Next time I am going to use this with my newborn with the car seat adapter. I wished I hadn't waited until my child was 4 months old before getting one. I did use an REI 20% off coupon and a dividend check to pay for part of it - and asked for it for my birthday - but it was worth it. The only bad part is that it is bulky and heavy. But I traverse lots of curbs, trails with it. We are taking it with us to Yellowstone later this week. Can't wait! And what a great ride....more info
  • Godsend...Allowed us to enjoy weekend getaway w/ 2 sons
    Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely!
Pros: Manuverability, Quality construction, Huge sun canopies, pivoting front wheel w/ lock feature (for jogging), easy to fold. Very easy to go up curbs.
Cons: Price. No hand brake. A bit heavy (but I guess u have to expect this w/ well constructed double stroller).
I swore I'd never spend so much on a stroller but after lots of research, it seemed the BOB was the only way to go since I have "big" babies and want to get at least a couple of years use out of it. My 2 1/2 yr old is 40 lbs and 40 inches and he fit very comfortably. He loved to sit in it. My 6 month old is 25 lbs and seemed very happy as well. My only concern was the harness straps were attached to the seat right above my younger son's ears. Although they were cushioned, I still put a thin blanket behind this head and over the straps so that his head wouldn't touch the straps directly. Other than that, my husband and I are both thrilled w/ the stroller. The best feature is how easy it is to push, as others have mentioned. I was so excited to be able to drink my coffee from one hand and push my boys with the other. Also, the cup holder attachement (sold separately) is a must!!!. The zippered pouch was perferct for a wallet, camera and cell phone. I have a fairly inexpensive Baby Trend single jogger which has a hand brake, and it's so handy when going down hills. I really wish the BOB had this feature, if it did it would be the perfect stroller.

Oh a finaly word of caution. I tend to load up my baby bag and hang it around the handle bars. However, if it's too heavy the stroller can tip backward, especially if no one is sitting in it or just a small child is in it. Not really a design flaw of the stroller, since I guess you're suppose to load your baby stuff in the under seat compartment.

  • Light, Compact, & Comfortable
Before I bought the BOB, I purchased 5 other strollers, thinking each had a specific purpose. Now that I have the BOB, I am ashamed to have spent so much money on so many others... thinking (at the time) that the BOB was out of my price range. Not only is BOB an investment, it is worth every cent! It is so light and compact! It replaces both the other brand name, yet bulkier jogger I had, as well as the umbrella stroller! It comes apart easily for trips, thus replacing the airport/travel stroller I had, yet it handles smoothly on all types of terrain-- thus, replacing my "mall stroller" and my backpack stroller! What is perhaps most important for me, is that the BOB is very comfortable for my tall toddler; and will continue to be for up to 70 lbs! She has her own spot for drinks, adequate shade, and ventilation, and proper foot and back support. If you are wondering what will do the job for everything, the BOB is it. We are extremely satisfied! ...more info
  • Even better than I expected!
I took my new stroller out today for the first time. It was like smooth "butta." I have been heaving around a Graco double stroller for the last year and the BOB was a dream come true. It does "turn on a dime" like everyone says. It pushes like it's the weight of a feather. I locked the wheel in jog mode, I stepped four feet in front of it (while it was holding my 1 and 2 year old children) to try and eye the wheel to see if it was locked straight, and the wind gently blew it that four feet toward me!

We were playing around with it last night when it arrived and my 7 and 6 year olds hopped in it for a quick ride. They are probably more than the weight requirements, but I could hardly tell I was pushing any weight at all!!!

It is truly fantastic. I am a tried and true tester of strollers, double and single, and you can't go wrong with this purchase! Don't waste money on the cheaper versions, just save up for this. It is absolutely worth it!...more info
  • BEST double, tried 7 others
UPDATE: Now owned my BOB for one year and I STILL LOVE IT!!! It's holding up fantastic, still turns on a dime, nothing broken, creaking, squeaking, ripped or faded. My kids totally beat it up (food, mud, markers) and it still looks almost brand new. I hose it off every once in a while and that does the trick.

First I want you to know that I have purchased or borrowed them all!!! I am my own mini consumer reports! LOL I have spent over $1600 on bad strollers.

You name it, I've bought it or tried it. I have compared:
    1) Graco Duo Rider tandem
    2) The Peg Perego Duette (super expensive $750 and worst stroller ever made)
    3) Peg Perego Aria Twin
4)Zooper twin side by side (not sure of the name)
    5) Maclaren side by side
    6) Phil&Ted double jogger that has the rear kid almost touching the ground (my kids HATED that) and after kid #2 is in back there is no basket room - are we joking?
    7) Graco Duo Rider side by side

The BOB Revolution Duallie ROCKED THE HOUSE compared to all the above and here's why....

First of all I have a HUGE 4 year old (46 lbs and 45 inches) and a medium sized but hefty 3 year old (26 lbs and 37 inches). I can NOT feel the weight of my children when I push them in the BOB!!!!! Parents, you realize how incredible this is. The stroller is easier to push than my single stroller! And I am not exaggerating. That was the first thing that got me because frankly I was not interested in a jogger. AND....get this... my 3 year old does not make the stroller pull to one side, even when he rides solo!!! I had such a problem with this in all the other strollers it was such a chore to push the kids that i didn't take them anywhere. This was the case with each of the other strollers, but especially the case with the Graco Duo rider tandem and the Peg Perego Duette (both took an act of God to turn).

The other thing I love are the HUUUGE sun canopies, they are independent of each other and practially cover my children completely and since my kids hate direct sunlight this was a must, must, must.

Next I am sure you want to know how it turns....FANTASTIC! I strolled it all around the store when buying it and it could totally get in and out of isles without bumping everything off the shelves. This shocked me. And it does absolutely make it through doorways, a little tricky but it does. The only way to describe the way it turns is to quote my husband "it's like butter" :) It is seriously the smoothest ride ever!! I am so excited about it after going through so many strollers that were such a pain.

Also each seat gives my hefty children plenty of room width-wise which doesn't make sense because they are almost the same dimensions as the others, magic I tell you. They don't look scrunched at all. They HATED the McClaren side by side whatever-its-called, and I hated it too frankly. I was stuggling even in the store and my kids were begging to get out, so cramped very hard to push. I felt this way with the Peg Perego Twin Aria too and was shocked because I LOVE my Peg Pergo Pilko P3. First I could have sworn the Twin Aria was going to snap when I turned, extremely flimsy, and my then two year old was cramped and complaining.

That's another thing about the Bob, that sucker is really solid. It is very well made and has stood the test of time. There is very little (if any) plastic used. EVERY other stroller mentioned above is made of a lot of plastic that was showing wear after a short period of time.

The shocks on the BOB are better than my car, I swear. It glides along and ever so slightly bounces up and down while you push as the movement of pushing is enough to send the shocks absorbing it. It's not a nusance at all if that's what your thinking, it actually makes pushing easier.

The under basket is not the best, but considering everything, they have made the most of it. Also there are two decent sized baskets on the back of each seat. I have not had any problems like I thought I would and I pack a change of clothes for each, lunch for three of us, dolls, power rangers, etc and I have always been good. I do HIGHLY recommend the handle bar console/cup holder. Without it I was lost. It stores my keys, phone, wallet and two water bottles.

As for the height of the seat area itself, my son only keeps growing taller (now 46 inches and counting) and he still fits with no complaints and believe me he would say something :)

Anyway, I hope this helps all your parents who are making the very stressful "perfect stroller" choice. Learn from my mistakes! :) Also, I do wish I had initially purchased the fuzzy seat covers - mostly to protect the seats from the inevitable spills, squished PB&J sandwiches, etc. :)

If I had purchased this stroller two years ago, things would have been a lot different. I know this stroller will last me a looong time. I will never buy a small compact stroller again after this.

The BOB Revolution Duallie is the single best double stroller that is sold! I got one for my twins (4 months old now) and have been using it since they were 6 weeks old. I don't use it to jog as the babies aren't old enough yet, but we walk around our neighborhood, the park, ballgames, the lake and anywhere else. It is very easy to push and manuever and my twins are very comfy. My husband loved that it pushes so easy in the grass on gravel and anywhere else! I also have a 4 1/2 year old daughter, she is very comfortable in this stroller also with one baby and I wear the other baby. It is still easy to push and maneuver and she weighs 40 lbs! It doesn't push unevenly at all. The seats are easy to recline and the canopy is the bomb! I purchased a mosquito netting for a double stroller and have used it all summer with this stroller, it has worked very well.
I just purchased a Baby Planet double unity stroller for a more "umbrella type" stroller for the twins and I really like it. It doesn't push nearly as well as the bob, but for an umbrella, it does well. The babies are comfortable and safe and it is easier to fold, load and unload. My 4 year old daughter can ride in it also as each seat is rated for 55 lbs. I have not tried her in it though.
This BOB stroller is heavy, but it is excellent quality. I have a suburban and have plenty of room to take it with us with luggage, etc... It is well worth the money - I get compliments on it where ever I take it and anyone that has pushed it has loved it! The cup holder addition is a must - I have to admit I was disappointed in the cup holder addition when I first saw it, but it is great! I love the middle zippered pouch in it also.
The only bad part about this stroller if you are using it for twins is you can not get 2 infant car seat adaptors to go in this stroller. I solved that problem by buying a cheapo baby trend frame for the mall etc.. when I didn't want to take them out of their seats....more info
  • The Best in jogging/walking
I bought this stroller for my second child and wish I would have invested in it sooner. It is a wonderful stroller that lasts until your child is 70 lbs! Both my 3 yr old and 5 yr old can ride in it. This stroller has it all and does it all. The best on the market. I have had Dreamer Design (Ditto), Kolocraft, and Schwinn jogging strollers. The front swivel wheel is wonderful. I would recommend this stroller to all my friends....more info
  • 110% worth the money
I hesitated spending the money for this stroller. After reading all of the reviews I decided it must be worth it. I was right! The stroller came 95% assembled---all I had to do was put the wheels on which took no time at all! I took my two year old and 3 month old daughters on a walk immediately. I knew it was a good stroller when they were both fast asleep within 15 minutes. The stoller pushes with ease and absorbes shocks great. The seats recline much further than any stroller I've ever seen so your little ones can take a nap without 'chicken neck'. The shades are independent so if one is taking a nap and one is awake, they can have the shades at different levels. The shades block out the sun greatly---even my 3 month old daughter could recline and not get the late afternoon sun in her eyes. I can't tell you how happy I am with this stroller. I wish I would have bought it a month ago! It is sooooo worth the money. ...more info
  • Great double stroller...however...
I LOVE this stroller-it's just what everyone else says it is, but I am not happy with a few things:

    1) It's HEAVY
    2) There is no "clip" mechanism to hold it in a folded position-I would NEVER attempt to travel with it (I know, it's a jogger-but this one claims to be a "city" jogger
    3) It's EXPENSIVE-I am scared to take it anywhere like Disneyland or Sea World because it would get stolen

Other than that-it's great. You feel like you're pushing nothing-you can push and steer with one hand. The separate strap-on cup holder attachment is a must. Overall, the best jogger I could find....more info
  • Wow A Great stroller
I researched for the perfect stroller. I wanted a double stroller that could work with a car seat. I bought this along with the car seat attachment. It is very smooth, easy to fold. It took a bit to install the car seat attachment, but once it is installed you will never have to remove it. It has plenty of room for a car seat and 2 year old. The only complant I have is that it is hard to put a diaper bag under the kids, so just buy one that can strap to the handle bars. This is the most I have spent on anything for the kids, but it was work every penny.

I use it with the Graco Safeseat. It works great....more info
