  • EASY
  • So much fun
I just love, love, love this quesadilla maker. I even have quesadilla parties so everyone can enjoy them. Since we purchased this one we have given them as gifts to a lot of other people. You can't go wrong with this purchase.
I just throw a tortilla on the quesadilla maker and don't even use any oil. Add some diced up chicken or steak (really good if you cook the meat on the BBQ), green and red peppers and onions and green chilis and jalepenos along with cheese and you are set. For the kids just use cheese and they are in heaven. Serve with sour cream and salsa and a margarita on the side ...more info
  • Awesome!
Seems a little ridiculous to own something like this when a pan works fine. But this thing really is fantastic, especially if you have kids. I can hide all sorts of stuff (like eggs and veggies) in the quesadillas I make now. And the grown-ups in the house think they're pretty tasty, too.

  • Fair Quesadilla maker
This does a decent job of making quesadillas and the clean up is easy but my main concern is the small amount of "stuff" that you can pack into the quesadilla. If you use more than a 1/4 cup of cheese is runs out and if you use other "stuff" the maker will not close....more info
  • Easy and yummy
This is the easiset appliance to use. It makes perfect quesadillas and is very easy to clean. I use it about twice a week....more info
  • Very nice unit & very low price!
Works great for a fast quesadilla. Quick & easy! Includes several recipes in manual including standard cheese, salsa, sour cream, onions, peppers & eggs as well as peanut butter & jelly, apple & cinnnamon, etc. Delicious!...more info
  • Quesadilla Fun
What a fun gadget! It is easy enough for kids to use with little supervision. It works great as long as you follow the instructions and don't over fill it. If you like super cheesy quesadillas this probably isn't for you, 1/4 cup of cheese isn't alot....more info
  • I'm making one RIGHT NOW!
Love this machine!!! When my mother in law gave me it for Christmas last year, I didn't think I'd use it much. Now, I use it just about every other day! Perfect lunch time or snack time idea! Add cooked chicken or ground beef for a more dinner-like treat! I use larger tortillas, but I don't even press down when I cook mine to create that "seal" and mine turn out just fine. You might have spillage, but you just need to be smart with how much you put in it. Easy to clean, worth every penny (if I bought it- which I would have!!!!)...more info
  • Great little item
I saw this item used by a friend and decided I needed one. It came quickly and I used it while gone with daughters. Just fun. We had breakfast fixed on it--eggs, sausage, bacon and cheese. Very good. Also for dinner, taco meet, salsa and cheese. Plan to use it for many things....more info
  • Glad I bought this
This is a great buy. I have used it 2-3 times a week and what I love about it is; heats quickly, easy clean up, convenient for SO many sandwiches. I have made quesidillas, italian pitas and all are great. Well worth the money....more info
  • Quesadilla Maker, worth every penny
We had the same item, but it was dropped by my daughter and the lid broke off. I was unable to find a replacement in any store. Found it on Amazon and the price was very reasonable. The only downside of this item is, if you drop it on the floor, good chance it won't survive....more info
  • Quesadilla Maker
I already own one of these but bought this as a gift for family who is always calling to borrow ours! I know it will get a ton of use....more info
  • Easy to use
We've had it a month now and have used it at least 8 times. No problems. Easy enough for teens to use without adult supervision....more info
  • Fillings too sparse for tortilla size
Look at the product photo closely and you'll see how much of the tortillas' margins are taken up in sealing the outer edges. That leaves very little room for fillings. The end result is too much tortilla and not enough filling, for my taste. On the plus side, it cooks nicely and cleans up easily....more info
  • Nice Quesadilla Maker
I had a friend bring over some awesome quesadilla's one evening and she told me about this maker. My wonderful husband bought me one for Christmas last year. I LOVE this thing, as do my kids. I use it at least once a week. We make your traditional quesadilla's with cheese and salsa, maybe add in some leftover chicken. We sometimes make turkey and cheese sandwiches. We also make up our own type of fillings (the possibilities are endless). One of my girls' favorites is a dessert type quesadilla. Marshmallow fluff and some chocolate chips. When it's done, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Very sweet, but the kids love it.
My only complaint is that I wish the little "sandwich wells" were a little deeper so that you could have more filling. If you put too much filling in, you end up with a mess (however, it is pretty easy to clean up). Still, this was the reason for the 4 star rating.
It's been a year and it is still going strong!...more info
  • Quesadilla maker
I like this product. I am still playing around with different tortillas, as being gluten intolerant, I can only have 100% corn tortillas. Corn tortillas in this size are hard to find, but I have seen lots of the flour ones in this size. So far, though, stuff has turned out pretty darned good with this maker....more info
  • love it!
I gave this to my mom and she loves it and it works really well! ...more info
  • okay, but light duty only
this is designed for 10 inch tortilla shells, which are hard to find where we live, the construction is very light weight as are the plastic handles used to clamp the lid shut during heating, and the machine gets very hot in use, even the plastic 'cool pads' are not sufficient to move the machine around once it heats up. All in all I can make comparable quesos in a microwave with a ceramic plate, and a lot less fuss....more info
  • best machine ever!
Catch this machine when it is on sale! It is so worth it. We use it weekly and make the best dang quesadillas ever. The machine crisps and browns the torillas to perfection. Easy clean-up, too. ...more info
  • Quick and easy
Perfect for the fan of quick and easy cooking. Try different things besides cheese and chicken, be creative pb & j for instance....more info
  • Junk
What a peice of junk. Cannot hold any contents at all. The cheese gets all over, making for an impossible clean up. I threw it out rather then try to scrub the peice of junk....more info
  • Hot spots in Quesadilla Maker
I recently ordered this at a great price and, despite the imperfection in it, it is worth having at that price. However, I was disappointed--and still am--that there is a persistent hot spot in the top half which causes the top of about 2-3 tortilla slices to brown unevenly and have a few dark, toasty spots. I always follow the directions faithfully (no more than 5 minutes cooking, oil it first, etc.), and this is clearly a true hot spot and not due to my own making. This leads me to question whether or not the great sale price was on a "second?" ...more info
  • Love this. So much better than expected.
I wasn't sure I needed a quesadilla maker. After all, I have skillets, right? But this turns ordinary ingredients into something special in a way that a skillet won't. The tortilla becomes hot and soft, except for in the places where it becomes hot and crisp. The filling flavors meld together and create some magic.

I've never used one of these before, but it was super easy, and fast. I just chop up some cheese and onion and whatever I had on hand. (Note: Red Hot sauce is FANTASTIC in quesadillas!) It makes some super delicious quesadillas. Addictive, really. And the possiblities for fillings and items to dip them into are endless.

Cleanup is really easy. Even if I get a little overenthused about cheese and I get a little runoff, I wait until the maker has cooled a bit, then wipe it off with a towel before the food has completely gone cold. That's all it takes.

I really love this thing and definitely recommend it....more info
  • Quesadilla heaven!!
I love this little appliance. I used to make quesadilla's for my kids by putting them in our toaster over. This little thing takes minutes to heat up and you just wait another few minutes until you can smell it and then check to see if the tortilla's are lightly browned. Ta da! Done. It browns on both sides and seals the edges and seals in each pie shape piece which you can then just use a pizza cutter to separate each slice....more info
  • Fun, Delicious, Healthy and Easy
Making quesadillas with my new Salton Quesadilla maker is so simple. They are not greasy at all, which when making them in a pan is not the case. You can add healthy, fresh vegetables and chicken and 5 minutes later, dinner is served. The product works well and worth every penny. Have some fun with your family making all kinds of quesadillas!!...more info
  • Makes lunchtime so much easier!
I love this product! Try it with the flavored tortilla wraps they have out now, I had a great spinach tortilla quesadilla with green chilis, awesome, after that I had to buy one for myself and I don't regret it. It preheats within five minutes, flop a full-size burrito tortilla or wrap on there, load it with fillings, throw another one on close the lid, let it heat and there you are: lunch in under fifteen minutes, it's that easy. Since I am very lazy about any sort of cooking, this has made my lunches so much more fulfilling. Another note, so far, none of the fillings I've used have stuck to the nonstick surface and it is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge. Just don't overfill the tortillas or they won't seal at the edges and the fillings will leak out. ...more info
  • Good Quesadilla Maker for the Price

  • Lots of fun
I bought this quesadilla maker for a friend five or six years ago, and he still uses it at least once a week. He initially used it four or five times a week. I can't believe it's still working after all that use! My husband bought one for us a few weeks ago on a whim, and it's great. I had tried making quesadillas on a griddle and lost some of the filling trying to flip them, so this is much easier. If you put too much filling in, you won't be able to close it completely, but it only takes one or two tries to get it just right. This is a lot of fun if you like to have something different for dinner, or a great snack. This would be great for a dorm room too....more info
  • Fun and Easy
    Easy to use...Fast cleanup.
My 10 year old invented the "Tacadilla".
Taco meat, Black Olived and Cheese...We had a blast....more info
I have a cheese quesadilla fanatic for a husband and never could get his approval when it came to making his favorite at home. Tried the oven and broiler method and just ended up with either a soggy mess or a burnt beyond edible trash can item. Well, I happened to stumble upon this handy little item. Wow, has this made my life easier. Better yet, He can now make his own. It makes the most wonderful quesadillas ever. Just a few minutes in the machine and you have the perfect snack. They are sealed and have the perfect consistancy. And don't know why but stay warmer longer than others. I figure this is due to the sealing of the tortilla. I also love the separations in the cooker. It makes it so easy to serve and gives it a real professional look. I have also tried a few of the recipes that come along with the machine and they were just great. Give this maker a try. It really will make your life easier, whether it's for your quesadilla fanatic or for the kids afterschool snacks. Also, Stands on end so it's easy to store. ...more info
  • I love it!
My family loves quesadillas and we used to try making them at home. They never turned out to our liking because they weren't very crispy. This product has made that little problem nonexistant. We also love how this appliance cuts and seals off our quesadillas so we can eat all of our yummy filling. It's also very easy to clean. The price and performance of this product is excellent!...more info
