Nonstick Interior allows food to slide off and fat-free cooking. Grippy Silicone Handles are comfortable to grip and oven safe to 400??F. Glass Lids allow you to monitor foods without removing the lid.

A creation of television celeb chef Rachael Ray, this oval pasta pot takes a new approach to shaping that feels long overdue. Sized to hold 8 quarts, the deep oval pot is space-efficient on the stovetop, while letting you cook spaghetti or linguine without breaking the noodles. Hard-anodized aluminum for durability, the pan heats evenly and quickly, which is great for boiling a big quantity of water. A glass lid contains heat and steam while allowing visibility, and a nonstick interior makes food release and low-fat cooking easier. Surprisingly comfortable to handle, the pot features fun orange handles with silicone coating for heat resistance and a secure grip. Ideal for pasta, the pot is also great for soups and corn on the cob. It is safe in the oven to 400 degrees F, cleans up easily by hand, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. --Emily Bedard

  • I've waited so long...
I've been watching this pot for a very long time and just couldn't justify the cost. I finally broke down and purchased it and I'm so glad I did. Not only is it great for pasta but it works great for corn on the cob, among other things.

  • Takes a long time to get
On December 11, 2006 I ordered this pot for myself and used the "FREE" shipping method. Today is December 29th and I still haven't received it. Good thing I didn't need it for a gift.

The item description reads: Availability: In Stock. Ships from and sold by Target. I checked the status of this shipment and Amazon's website tells me estimated delivery is January 10-26, 2007.

I just don't think it should take this long, if indeed the item was "in Stock". Hopefully I will get it and be able to start cooking! Happy New Year. ...more info
  • Pasta Pot
This pot looks good and I love the fact that I don't have to break up my pasta to make it fit. I have had no problems with it and I enjoy using it....more info
  • Dump your other pasta pots!
The design of this pot is so ingenius I don't know why noone else has thought of this before Rachel. I hated my all-clad pasta pot because I hated my spaghetti or linguine half sticking out of the water when I placed it into the boiling water. Now, it all goes in submerged and I get to save a lot of water also. This is the best pasta pot on the market. Rachel had another one out with the same design prior to this one without the ugly orange handles for those of you that care about the aesthetics of your kitchen and its pots....more info

  • great product
I wanted a pot that was lightweight, had a good non-stick interior and was the size of my old pot. This is exactly what I was looking for. I am very pleased with it. I use this pot the most out of all my pots and pans because it's the right size for most of the quick meals I cook for my family....more info

  • LUV IT! Gr8 size, Gr8 Pot!
Have the 10pc set & wanted this larger size, so snapped it up when the price was reduced. Gr8 quality, luv the oval shape and the handy pour feature. Also bought the oval saute & pleased w/that too. ONE thing to note is that the coating on surface in bottom of pot feels 'rough' compare to the original pans...thought it was a defect but according to Anolon who makes these, it's NOT a defect...they're manufactured on different lines in the plant...just so you know!...more info
  • GREAT PAN!!!
I loved it!!! It's great for when you are cooking for a big family. It cleans good and it's great for pasta....more info
  • Fine for a pasta pot but not really much else...
I am kicking myself that I decided to buy this Rachael Ray version over Analon's original design. I figured I'd save myself 30 bucks. This pan is really thin and heats pasta water rapidly because of it, but it is horrible for soups, legumes, etc. Because the walls/bottom of the pan are so thin, stuff sticks and scorches very easily. It's best for pasta or corn on the cob.

I do understand that it being lightweight is a plus for a pasta pot, as it makes it easier to lift and pour...but I really was hoping it could do double duty like Analon's oval 5qt saute pan. Thankfully, though it tends to burn my soup, it does clean up easily! ...more info
