Customer Reviews: - If you want this , go for it ...
Little smaller than Lowepro 200 (which is $15-$20 more than this) but easily accomodate a SLR kit. I've packed following in my Lowepro 100 :
- Canon 10D body with 17-40mm f/4 L lens attached
- Canon 420EX Flash
- Canon 55-200mm USM lens
- Canon 50mm f/1.8 prime lens
- Some more small stuffs like Omini bounce , charger
Apart from this you could keep all you flash cards , wires in the front zip.
Sorry but you can't accomodate any more stuffs in the bag. If you have more lenses or body then you should go for Lowepro 200. But I belive most of the ametures use to have a body + 2lenses+ Flash. This bag should be perfect for that.
High quality materials.
Cons : So far I've not found anything...more info - Very nice
I bought it in red and look's really cute. It's small enough to be comfortable to carry around, but big enough to carry my camera and all its accessories (2 flashes, a motor,- my camera is a Cannon A-1 and don't move from frame to frame automatically without it- a small tripod, a spare lens, and a bunch of instructions and rolls of film. In the front pocket I carry my wallet, my keys and my cell phone, so I don't have to carry my purse while taking pictures. Also, I like it because it doesn't look like a camera bag, but like a little backpack and that gives me some sense of safety when I'm in a part of town that is not too pretty....more info - nice size, good price!
I got this bag after I realised that the Compudaypack was great, but I won't really be lugging around my notebook half the time.
The Micro Trekker is a nice size, it holds my Digital Rebel XTi with my 100mm macro and another lens, my accessories and my wallet and keys. The construction is solid and reliable. And the pockets are very functional. And my favourite - a nice touch - is the little clip for keys, so I don't have to go fishing for my keys.
Love it....more info - Awesome camera bag for the traveling photographer!
I bought this bag in January 2007, when I was in Las Vegas. I paid $69.99 for it, so it's considerably cheaper on Amazon. Since then I have taken it halfway around the world and is now used in Iraq, which is a great place to test durability on about anything, as the dust here is legendary.
I bought this one because it is small, and has just enough room to fit my Canon Digital Rebel XTi, as well as a wide angle and telephoto lense with no problem. There's still room for at least one more lense and a small flash, if I choose.
This unit also has numerous pockets for CF card and battery storage and all the inside compartments are velcro, so they can be adjusted to suit any camera or user. I keep the lense part of the camera bay long so no matter what lense is on the camera, I can put it away quickly.
The outside of the bag is water repellent, although I haven't tested the effectiveness of that yet. I'm from the Northwest, so I'll get plenty of chances when I return from Iraq.
Another review mentioned the chest strap almost being a neck strap...I can see that, as it does ride high. It is somewhat adjustable though, although their range of adjustment really should have taken it lower down the straps. I adjusted mine all the way down and it made it better.
All in all, I highly recommend this camera backpack. I've had a few Lowepro products before, and they are normally very well thought out and made with very good quality....more info - Great pack, but not for big folks
I bought this to carry my DLSR and a tele lens, and the usual accessory stuff. I wanted to keep it small and minimal for day hikes - and this one does that very well. It's very well made and fits everything nicely and I would be completely happy with it but for one thing - for us big folks (I'm 6' 3"), the pack just doesn't fit well. I can't use the chest strap (which I really need for the hiking bit) because the bag tends to ride lower on the back for me, and that puts the chest strap at my neck. The lower waist strap is just not useful for me for the same reason.
Overall, I would recommend this bag for a normal- or smaller-sized person for the above reasons. The features and quality easily make it a "5" rating, and it absolutely fits what it says it does. But I'll probably have to look for a larger bag just to fit my frame even though I don't need the room....more info - Great bag,
I bought this bag through Amazon and I could not be happier with it, i have a Canon Digital Rebel, and i have a zoom lense coming, and i know that when i bought my camera i wanted the best to protect that nice of a camera, and this bag makes me know that my camera is safe.
Another nice feature is the fact that it does not look like a camera bag, so less likely to be stolen, so that is nice, very good, i would recommend this one....more info - Perfect For Outings!
I purchased this bag after trying to lug my 5D and 2 L series lenses around Henry Doorly Zoo without a bag and let me tell you after about 10 minutes of walking I was cursing myself for trying. I needed a bag that would hold just what I needed for a day long outing without being too bulky for crowded places. It is built really well and very versatile-you can rearrange the pockets if needed. This bag works great for day trips, and holds my 5D, 24-70mm, and my 16-35mm with no problem. There is also a front pocket that could hold my flash if needed but I usually use it for filters and cleaning supplies. If I take my 70-200mm I have to keep my camera around my neck which if your out taking pics it will be there anyway more than likely so its not too big of a problem, but when carrying your camera body isn't an option it could be. If you use a 70-200mm frequently I would buy the mini trekker instead but all in all this is a great purchase and highly recommended....more info - Nice Little Bag
This is the perfect alternative to the larger camera backpack I have and is more practical for full-day trips than the over-shoulder bag I have. ...more info - Excellent Camera Bag
The bag is quite roomy and very well made. The balance is excellent so that the weight is well distributed. I like it very much....more info - perfect size
Okay, this bag has been with me on weekend trips, day trips and back-packing in urban Japan. It's a great size and fits my D80 with my 18-200 on and I have room for arguably three other lenses, but for sure two lenses (a 50mm & 10-20mm), my extra battery, charger, and a snack. The front pocket holds extra filters, my D80 manual and a travel book. There's so much room, and the straps aren't that annoying. I'm a curvacious woman and the middle, across-the-chest style strap isn't that comfortable for me, so I tend to prefer the backpack style. You learn to swing it around rather easily, but of course, not quickly as you with the single strap style. It sits high on your back so you never feel strained from weight.
Security may be a problem in like Rome, since the zipper is on the back. Personally, I'd seriously consider another carrying arrangement when in Europe, etc., but other than that I really do think this is a great cheaper-end Lowepro bag. Lowepro is the best, hands down....more info - Lowepro Micro Trekker 100 Camera Bag
I really love this bag with its backpack straps and available space. I was able to fit my Nikon D70s DSLR with a small zoom len, an extra longer zoom lens and my SB-600 flash. It has a small form factor which was important to me, and the black color looks great. There are plenty of little pocket spaces for extra batteries and memory cards. If you need a small backpack camera bag, you should seriously consider this product. Go for it......more info - great bag
This bag is great for my needs. This is what I can keep in the main compartment.
1) Eos 30 D
2) 35mm f2
3) 50mm f2.5 macro
4) 100mm f2.8 macro
5) canon powershot a 630
6) battery charger for 4 AA nimh batteries
7) Battery charger for eos 30 d
8) there is a little space for another small lens like 50mm f2.5 macro. I do not know if a flash will also fit in. I believe it will.
(All the lenses have uv haze filter attached and no hoods.)
In the flap I keep the manuals and notebooks.
I have been using the bag for a few weeks so I cannot comment on durability. It looks well made.
The waist strap does not reach my waist. I cannot complain about since I knew the size of the bag.
I bought it from M Z Photo. I would have never bought it from them if they were not listed on Amazon. They shipped it superfast with tracking number. The bag arrived in 2 days. It came in a very well packaged box. I was surprized that they used such good packing and care to ship a bag. I would give 5 stars to this seller also....more info - Wonderful starter case!
Great bag, fills up quickly with a camera and two lenses plus accessories. For the price, it is worth it....more info - Great little bag!
This is a wonderful little bag that I have used now for about a year. It is a wonderful bag for hikes and going to events as it is small and light weight. Not much room in the pocket for much more than my cleaning supplies and my Rebel XTi feild guide, not that I needed much more than that. Inside, I carried my XTi with the 28-300mm lens attached, my 50mm, my fisheye, my macro add on, about 5 of my filters in their individual cases and for a short period of time held my gorilla pod inside! I also kept my batteries and charger on the inside. I got a new wide angle lens for christmas and though it does fit in the bag it is incredibly tight and I now have to put my tripod through one of the easy lock features on the side of the bag. It is a wonderful bag if you don't own or carry much or if your just going to an event of sorts and need limited supplies. The quality is great and the velcro dividers are a wonderful feature....more info - Great camera bag
This is a great bag. I took it on our Alaska trip. I put my Canon Rebel in it along with my 200 zoom lense, teleconverter, compact camera, filters, extra batteries in the zippers, lens cleaning pen and 20 rolls of film in the front zipper. I even had room for my wallet. It worked great. We even had rain and snow and it stayed dry. My plan was to put it in my regular backpack but I decided that was to big to carry around all the time so I went with just this bag. If you are planning on putting a lot of other stuff in it then get the bigger one, but for the hobby photographer it works just fine....more info
