Product Description

The Jwin JV-TV5024 Real Time 4-channel Color Quad 14-inch Monitor Observation System with 4 CCD Cameras is a complete and reliable solution for remote monitoring of an entire office or area. Constructed within a durable metal cabinet, the easy-to-set-up Jwin JV-TV5024 14-inch monitor comes complete with four color cameras, each with a 60-foot cable so you can install them almost anywhere. This system is feature-rich and includes A/V (audio/video) outputs for recording, making it perfect when you require a complete video surveillance system, and for monitoring multiple rooms, entrances, or other areas in your home or business.

The JV-TV5024 allows you to view up to four cameras simultaneously in real time at up to 30 frames per second (frames-per-second), with up to 720 by 480 pixel elements. This unit includes a full-screen display of one camera, a four-position sequential switcher, and programmable dwell times to include camera and quad display in the sequential-switching mode. The JV-TV5024 also includes an alarm capability that allows alarm devices to be connected to the splitter, an alarm hold that can be set between zero- to 60-seconds. Featuring an on-screen display of both information and programmable menus, the JV-TV5024 has a battery backup for user-programmed data. This unit includes a standard BNC (Bayonet Neill-Concelman, RF-type) composite video output connection for any standard VCR, and four-channel composite video signal input (BNC and six-pin DIN jack selectable). Compatible with the NTSC format, the Jwin JV-TV5024 color monitor uses 85-watts of power, includes a remote control for your convenience, and has an operating temperature of 32- to 158-degrees Fahrenheit.

Technical Features:

  • Signal compatibility: NTSC system
  • Resolution: 720 x 480 pixels and up to 30 frames per second
  • Zoom: yes, 2x digital with interpolation
  • Monitor operating temperature: 32 to 158-degrees Fahrenheit
  • Monitor dimensions: 14.3 x 15.3 x 13.5 inches (W x D x H)
Designed primarily for indoor use, the Jwin JV-TV5024 four-camera monitor deserves serious consideration as one of the most user-friendly, complete monitoring solutions for medium scale surveillance applications. The cameras that come with this system are easy to install, and include a built-in microphone. User's should note that the CCD image sensor in the cameras may become permanently damaged if exposed to long hours of direct sunlight or halogen light, so the camera should not be mounted or pointed directly at the sun or other bright-light sources.

About Surveillance Camera Technical Features
Lux rating is the measurement used to indicate how sensitive a camera is to light, and stands for the level of light reflected off a piece of paper by a candle from one meter away. Thus a sensitivity of three Lux would mean a camera could generate an acceptable picture of a piece-of-paper-sized object that was illuminated by the equivalent of three candles from one meter away. The lower the Lux level, the better the camera's ability to work in low-light conditions. The camera's resolution should be greater than or equal to the resolution supported by the system's recorder or monitor. The S/N, or signal to noise ratio, is an important measure of a camera's quality. A poor camera, low-light conditions or poor wiring causes "noise" which consumes processing power and disk space. A camera with a wide dynamic range is ideal, especially for recording areas in which both indoor and outdoor light are present. CCD (charge-coupled device) sensors provide high-quality images that are less susceptible to noise. CMOS (complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor) sensors offer less image quality, but are usually more cost-effective and energy efficient.
