Small footprint
The D320 gives users speed, convenience, and reliability in a footprint small enough for any desk. Copy paper sizes up to legal-size documents, reduce and enlarge, collate or make draft copies from the easy to use control panel.

Quality speed and resolution
Speed is never an issue as the D320 copies pages at 15ppm at 1200 x 600 dpi and 12.5ppm on legal size paper. Zoom in up 200 percent at 1 percent increments for pinpoint enlargements. Printing is also available at 15ppm at 600 x 600 dpi. The D320 is compatible with any PC running the Windows operating system. USB 2.0 connectivity offers fast data transfers.

Fast, economical, and easy

Customer Reviews:

  • Great Low Volume Copier
I didn't want a printer; I needed a low-volume copier. This fit the bill perfectly.

It turns on instantly after being in energy-save mode, copies as fast as it says, makes extremely nice copies, is easy to clear jams, and does copy (manually) on both sides of the paper.

I doubt it would be great for high-volume use (the toner would probably be too expensive, though still less than a service contract on a higher-priced copy machine), but I installed it in our math department workroom and it has performed wonderfully.

How does it work as a printer? Can't say ... I didn't connect it that way. We use it only as a copier.

    I recommend it highly!...more info
  • nice little unit
I am very happy with this Canon D320. I purchased this copier because I wanted a copier, not a 3-in-1 unit for home use. This is a black and white copier and is very quick to use. No warm-up time. If I want to save on toner, then I have to reset the exposure every time I use it for different jobs. I wish it could be set permanently. It has a toner save feature, but the copies come out too light. It boasts a lot of copies from one toner, which other reviews have said is incorrect. I haven't had it long enough to go through a whole cartridge. I used to have a Canon copier, got too old and the fuser roller was too expensive to replace. This one holds more paper and works much better with two sided copies than my old unit. It holds 10 sheets paper for auto feed. The toners are expensive because they have all the working parts in them and there is no need to buy a separate drum. So, it isn't as bad as having to buy both. There is little if any maintenance on it. It can be used as a printer for a computer too, but I don't use it for that, so I can't comment. If this one lasts as long as my other Canon or longer, I will be a very satified customer. ...more info
  • Good Value
I've had this unit for about a year with no problems. It doesn't jam often, but it is a little hard to get into paper handling area. Otherwise it is a reliable product that lives up to the Canon name. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't need ADF or similar features. Good Value. ...more info
  • Canon Copier ImageCLASS D320
This is a nice copier for personal use. It is easy to learn the functions and it is always ON (in STANDBY mode).

There are about 2 dozen of us who use this one copier and I have not heard one complaint. Based on this one fact: It's a recommended BUY....more info
  • Quality copier at a great price
This is just what I was looking for in a copier. It has the features I needed: letter-size/legal and expansion/reduction. Canon makes a quality product and this is no exception....more info
  • decent for the price
Using it in my admin's office as her personal copier. It's definitely not rated or capable of handling huge jobs or heavy use, but it works just fine for light/personal use and seems to be a good value for the price.

My only complaint up to this point is, the paper tray and it's method to attach to the printer is a little wonky and I could see it breaking if mishandled. It's also pretty slow making standard copies, but again, it's not meant to be put under much load.

Makes great copies if you can figure out how to work it. The instruction manual is very confusing....more info
