• Best cooking mat that I own.
  I have used other cooking mats in the past (the ones that are supposed to make all your pans like teflon) and this hands down is far superior. I just received them last week and made cheese sausage balls on them. They browned up beautifully and all I had to do was wipe them off with a paper towel. I also bought one for my two adult sons as they do a lot of baking and heating up of chicken tenders etc. Since nobody like the clean up part of cooking these would make a great gift for anyone....more info

  My wife has been using Silpat and Matfer silicone baking mats for years. Both are made in France and seem to perform equally well. Recommend both highly and would opt for whichever is cheapest at the moment....more info

• no more foil
  A much better way to bake. Spend the money and get this product. It will save you frustration and money in the long run. I have used mine many times and it still looks new. Unlike some cheaper silicone mats I have had in the past this one does not stain or discolor. It does not change the temperature of the pan and everything comes off of it easily. Cleaning is pretty easy as long as you have a solid surface to wipe it down.

  This is the best invention ever... No more parchment paper. The cookies I baked turned out wonderful. It is so easy to use and clean and you simply store it with your cookie pan. I meanwhile bought a 2nd one. Great product, which I definitely recommend....more info
• These baking mats are great !
  We had been lining our baking tins with non-stick aluminum foil when that product became available. However the non stick version of aluminum foil is significantly more expensive than the regular stuff. So we were keeping our eyes open for alternative solutions. We have a number of Silicone based items for the kitchen so when these became available, I picked one up to give it a try.
  
  We both love this little mat. It stops things from sticking to the baking sheet which can make for a tough cleanup that could damage the pan's non-stock coating. It also saves us money by not having to buy that non-stick aluminum foil. Baked items don't stick to this mat, it has a nice slick coating on it. Cleaning it up is a snap as well, you just run a damp rag over it, roll it up and put it back in the drawer.

  I have used it often....wonderful. Nothing sticks, it's easy to wash. Only one problem I have a smaller oven so the cookie sheets I use under it are a bit smaller than the silpat and cookies slide to the center because of the higher edges of the cookie sheets. Measure carefully!...more info
• Accept no substitues!
  I have used several of the other nonstick baking mats, and I have to say that absolutely none compare to the Silpat. I own two since I like to alternate cookie sheets while baking cookies. Good quality bakeware and accessories do not come dirt cheap for a reason...they're made better and will last longer. Spend the extra few bucks and enjoy the results. These make fantastic gifts (especially for bridal showers)....more info
• Couldn't live without
  Several years ago I was introduced to baking with a silpat through a cooking class I was taking. I now own 4 and wouldn't bake without them. Quick, easy and never a mess. No more washing baking sheets. They are however not dishwasher safe. This is not a problem for me but for some people it could be. I just wipe them clean and they are ready for the next time....more info

  I made several batches of cookies and the mats worked perfectly. No stick, almost no mess, easy cleanup. If you want a little extra browning on the edges or underside, you wouldn't use these mats because the heat is a lot more even with them. But for most baking, it's very useful and worth the price....more info

  Got a SilPat for myself, and then one for my sister-in-law. They are awesome. Always had problems with cookies sticking to the pan until I got the SilPat. They NEVER stick to it. Everybody should have at least one of these in their kitchen!!!...more info

  Excellent for rolling cookie dough very thin. Bread dough doesn't stick to sliplat. So versatile, you can put sliplat on your pan and bake on it. It is easy to clean and store. My only disappointment was I didn't get a bigger size for rolling dough, however this fits a jelly roll pan perfect, so baking is easy....more info

• Pays for itself
  This thing is amazing. We haven't found anything that even tries to stick to it. This pad has literally paid for itself by saving us from having to buy parchment paper as frequently.
  
  One concern I had at first before buying the pad was that the bottoms of baked items like cookies wouldn't be as crispy as before but those fears were unfounded. Heat conducts pretty well through the pad and the bottoms of cookies, biscuits, etc. are the same as they'd have been with a regular oiled metal pan....more info
