6/9: Downloader.GK a 'High Threat'

Panda Software Wednesday issued a high threat alert for Downloader.GK, a Trojan that downloads and runs adware programs on the affected computer. The programs are:

  • Adware/BetterInet
  • Adware/SearchCentrix

    Downloader.GK is downloaded to the computer when the user accesses certain web pages and accepts to install an specific ActiveX control.
