New Thermal Video System for Preventive Maintenance

GOLETA, CA - October 29, 2002 - INDIGO SYSTEMS CORPORATION has introduced the new TVS-700 radiometric thermal imaging video system for preventive maintenance and condition monitoring applications. A state-of-the-art, high-resolution 320 x 240 microbolometer focal plane array, combined with an integrated 3.8 inch color LCD swivel display provides the user with superior quality infrared images and ease-of-use. These features permit viewing from difficult angles and the ability to decipher fine detail with unparalleled clarity. The microbolometer requires no cryogenic cooling or mechanical scanning parts, reducing maintenance costs and providing "time to image" in less than 30 seconds. Compact and lightweight, this thermal camera measures temperature differences as small as .08¡ãC in the range of 8 - 14 microns. The high quality video imaging is supported by an easy-to-use navigation system which uses logical, onscreen icons generated by Thermoteknix TherMonitor? software which is included.

Real-time image analysis tools include 10 spot meters, isotherm and line profile tools, multiple color and grayscale palettes, and a status area which displays current object parameters for emissivity and background temperature. A variety of standard items are included and optional accessories are available for diverse environments.

INDIGO SYSTEMS CORPORATION is a premier developer and supplier of infrared thermal imaging cameras, advanced infrared sensors and full custom readout devices (ROICs).
