March 17, 2005 -- Systems Distributors Inc. (SDI), Atlanta, GA, announced the hiring of Jim Lumley in Systems Sales effective March 1, 2005. Jim is a 25-year veteran of the electronic security industry with special emphasis in the banking industry. Due to continued growth at SDI, Jim will augment the expanding sales and technical support group.

For the past 5 years Jim was with Richardson Electronics in security distribution sales. Prior to this he was in product planning, marketing, and sales for 8 years in the bank equipment industry. His first 12 years in the industry was with LeFebure Corp., a large national bank equipment manufacturer and sales and service company. Jim worked in both installation and service during his tenure at LeFebure.

Jim is married with two grown children and his wife is an educator in Gwinnett County Public Schools in the Atlanta area. Jim is an avid reader and enjoys motorcycling with his wife in the north GA mountains.

In Systems Sales Jim will be working with many of his previous customers as well as with new dealers and integrators throughout the southeast. Most of the vendors SDI represents and supports Jim has worked with for years so that is another asset he brings to SDI.
