SURREY, BC, December 3, 2003 - Silent Witness announces that it has released an indoor-only tamper resistant modular camera line, ValeoView?i10 to complement its line of indoor/outdoor vandal resistant modular cameras, MagnaView?and PrimaView? The new cost-competitive ValeoView line offers one highly versatile housing which instantly converts to flush or surface mount, 16 different camera boards and 6 lens options. As each component is packaged separately, customers can choose from 96 different camera combinations right at the point-of-purchase.

'Following the success of the world's first flexible Modular CCTV Camera System launched by Silent Witness in July 2002, we developed the ValeoView line to give customers a highly flexible and tamper-resistant solution for their indoor applications,' explains Roberto Testani, Product Manager. 'The Silent Witness 3 - Step Advantage reduces installation and service time by allowing the installer access to snap in or change the camera and lens without removing the housing.'

The ValeoView line is ideal for offices, banks, retail establishments, restaurants, hotels, and commercial and residential buildings. The cameras are available in high or standard resolution monochrome, color and True Day/Night (TDN) and offer the full range of Quick Change Lenses from 2.9mm to 16mm. Line lock comes standard with the monochrome and True Day/Night boards and is optional with the color. For a wider field of view, the '3D' gimbal provides maximum lens rotation and placement. In the future, other housings and the vari-focal auto-iris lens will be added to the ValeoView line for increased flexibility.
