Strengths: Lots of memory! Nice storage case.

Weaknesses: (can't think of any)

Summary: Worked 'right out of the box!' It's so nice to be able to hold entire audio books, several small videos, a verital jukebox of mp3s, and more....and still have lots of room left over on this card (I use it with my PalmOne PDA, Zire 72).

I recommend this card to anyone with digital storage needs.

Strengths: top 5 speed performer, small size, comes preformatted, 5 year warranty, and the color is nice too if you're into style points.

Weaknesses: The unit is a bit smaller/thinner than your standard SD card so you may have to be a bit more conscious while inserting it, but my Treo 600 had no problem accepting it.

Summary: After much torture/stress testing, this card has proven to be a great performer in my Treo 600 and thusly, I have no qualms about my data residing on it. It consistently performed better than many cards of varying capacities out there, and the value for the size on the card is great for its current placing at the top size in this memory type. I bought mine at and it arrived very quickly ... If you buy this card, rest assured it will perform well for you.

Strengths: Large storage capacity.

Weaknesses: price.

Summary: This SD card is a great buy. The file transfer speed is advertised at 60X, and seems to be every bit as fast. I am using this card in a Casio EX-Z40 digital camera. KingMax designed this card to have low battery consumption--a plus for a digital camera. With the card empty, I am able to take 53 minutes of video with sound. Highly recommended.

Strengths: The reason why I bought this one giga SD card memory is for my camera/camcorder. Now I can just simply bring it with charger without carry my laptop for downloading/saving file!

Weaknesses: Haven't found yet! If SD card can make 10GB+ storge room for video user will be even greater!

Summary: It's fast and cheap! I bought it in; however, the price might drop again around ThanksGiving Holiday season. The most interesting thing is that I never heard about the brand name before nor its high speed data transfer ability.

Strengths: very fast for a 1gig card. not to mentioned, priced right for a 60x speed. a must have for my digital camera (canon sd200).

Weaknesses: none as of yet

Summary: spent weeks searching for the right 1gb sd card at the right price. finally decided on the 60x 1gb sd card from Kingmax and I couldn't be more happier. works very well with my canon sd200 for storage of videos and pictures.

Strengths: Great access and write time

Weaknesses: Appears fragile due to it being thinner than other SD cards with write protect sleeves.

Summary: The price per megabyte on this product makes it a great value. The write/access time seems faster than other SD Cards. Even though the card is thinner it fits all my products that use SD.

Strengths: Fast, large capacity, thin, cheap

Weaknesses: None yet

Summary: It's memory, what can you say? This one is fast, cheap, an big capacity. The card itself is thinner than normal SD card but no problem with my device (Canon SD200 camera) and probably not a problem in yours. It does not have a write protection switch, but who cares? You put it in your camera and leave it there. I guess the card would also be great for mp3 players, palm pilot, etc. Apparently this thing uses some kind of new technology called pip, which is supposed to be heat and water resistant and durable. How the heck this thing has all these features and is the cheapest card out there is beyond me. But anyway, it's fast, which is handy for recording videos as long as you want, plus you can almost fill the card and it still runs fast. Flips through pics quickly, ready for next pic quickly, etc.

Strengths: Fast, good price/storage ratio

Weaknesses: Don't know

Summary: I have searched several SD memories before I decided to buy this one. Although I don't really have a direct comparison against other products because this is my first 1 GB SD card, the price/performance ratio definitely met my expectation.

Experience: 2 Weeks

Strengths: Price, form factor, seems to perform well in cameras

Weaknesses: Ambiguous warranty

Summary: The card was very competitively priced and it seems to perform well in my Nikon Coolpix 3700 camera (which is a bit finicky when it comes to SD cards). As the other reviews mention, the card has no write-protect switch and is thinner than most. For me, this isn't a bad thing; I figure the removal of moving parts just makes the card more reliable.

The only thing that bothers me about the card is its warranty. While other manufacturers give lifetime warranties, the Kingmax warranty is 5 years *and must be handled by the retailer*. However, I read on a review site that the retailer ( will only honour the first year unless you purchase a separate warranty. I e-mailed Kingmax twice to clarify who is responsible for honouring the remaining time on the warranty but received no reply (as did the the author on the review site). (The reviewer returned his card and bought a PQI card which he found to be significantly faster and inclusive of a lifetime manufacturer's warranty.)

PDA owners should search for more reviews on this card-- some users have found that performance slows to a trickle in a consistent pattern on their PDAs.

Despite the warranty annoyance, I've decided to avoid return hassles and stick with the card; I am having no technical problems using it in my camera.

Strengths: very fast for a 1gig card. Or any card, for that matter.

Weaknesses: no erase lock

Summary: Excellent size, Excellent price. I don't care about the no lock... The speed is great, and consistently about 60x. Beats hands down a colleague's Lexar 512mb.

Strengths: Huge storage, great price, fast write speeds.

Weaknesses: Card seems a bit too "thin"

Summary: As stated before the card is thinner than normal and you must take care when putting the card in as there is a bit of xtra space in the card slot. The card does read fine, haven't had any problems.

Other than that, this is the best deal you can get on a 1GB high speed SD card. Trust me, I've looked around quite a bit.

Experience: 3 Months

Strengths: cheap price compared with other brand; large capacity; high speed; small dimension

Weaknesses: a little thin and seems easily-broken

Summary: I bought the SD card for my camera Nikon Coolpix 5200. Compared with other brand, it has cheap price with the same condition of speed and capacity. After I have used it for about 3 months, I feel that it can record pictures and movies quite well. Especially, the quality of movies is as good as I expected. So I think the speed of memory card is as high as it mentions.
The only defect I found is that it is a little thin. When I install it into the camera, I must be very careful.
I recommend this card to anyone who need to buy high-speed and large-capacity SD card.

Strengths: capacity & price

Weaknesses: long write times (to Tungsten C) for big files (See comments)

Summary: This is the first time I have had a palm with an SD card slot so I don't have any experience to compare it to. I wrote a 700+ MB avi file to the card at one point (using Card Export II) and it took about 15 minutes to complete. I do not have a standalone SD card reader/writer so I don't know if that method is faster or not... Overall I am pleased with the card.

There were some comments about the card being thinner than most when I was researching. It is thinner than the slot allows for but does not present any problems during insertion or removal.
