Dakota Security Systems Inc. has announced the addition of Jim Ellis, CPP, CSS, CET as commercial sales manager for the state of Iowa. Jerry Rush, the company’s president and CEO, stated, “We are pleased to welcome Jim on board. His background, education and professionalism are a great fit for our company. We are looking forward to his contributions toward extending our rapidly growing security integration division into the State of Iowa.�

A native of North Scituate, R.I., Ellis has over 15 years experience in the security industry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Justice Studies from Rhode Island College, is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and is Board Certified in Security Management through ASIS International. Additional accreditations include the Certified Security Supervisor (CSS) and Certified Protection Officer (CPO) designations through the International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO). He also holds a Level I Certification in Fire Alarm Systems through the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET).
