It gives you a secure grip and it can be used with the neck strap, with the included adapater. The only bad this is that it is in the way when you are using your camera on a tripod. Weaknesses: a little hard to use if you have tiny hands. Summary: I like the strap. it is a lot easier to use then standard straps! the stap has a nice feel and also is nicely padded. Reviewed by:Reviewed by: NLyambura from IL on Jan 24, 2005 Rating: Experience: Strengths: The handstrap allows the user to hold the camera firmly while taking difficult shots that require added stability. Weaknesses: The one weakness I found is that it is difficult to reach the index finger dial with the strap attached. It also does not aid in taking vertical shots as the user must remove his hand from the strap. Summary: Overall, I find the hand strap to be useful. Despite the weaknesses mentioned above, I would most likely purchase the item again. It aids greatly in horizontal composition. I also found that you can attach both the neck strap and the hand strap using the metal bracket provided, which allows for the best of both worlds. |
