Seco-Larm CCTV Camera Line Now Available

Two medium & hi-res color and two medium & hi-res black/white CCTV cameras allow a full range of protection under most conditions.

IRVINE, CALIF., May 7, 2002 - SECO-LARM U.S.A, Inc. is now offering CCTV cameras aimed at monitoring a variety of spaces under a wide range of conditions.

The company's CCTV cameras feature 1/3-inch CCTV chips and sensors from Sony for optimum resolution and clarity in areas with minimal lighting.

The line includes a high-resolution color camera with 460 TV lines and a minimum illumination of 0.4-lux, a general-purpose color camera with 330 TV lines and a minimum illumination of 0.1-lux, a high-resolution black/white camera with 580 TV lines and a minimum illumination of 0.1-lux, and a general-purpose model with 400 TV lines and a minimum illumination of 0.1-lux.

The CCTV cameras are available in NTSC/EIA versions for the U.S. and Latin American markets and PAL/CCIR models for use in most of Europe.

The cameras accept both CS-mount and C-mount lenses. Built-in linelock synchronization allows multiple cameras to connect to a single video display monitor without interfering with each other.
Several programmable functions such as shutter control, backlight compensation, and gain control give installers complete control over the cameras' capabilities.

The cameras measure only 4.9 x 2.2 x 2.1 inches (125 x 57 x 52 mm), and weigh only 24 oz. (680g), allowing them to be easily installed in any location. An easy-to-read manual and complete mounting hardware ensure quick installation.

The new CCTV cameras are currently shipping to authorized SECO-LARM distributors.
