Weaknesses: none Summary: If you are looking for a high performance memory, go for it. I got 20D camera, the manual says it can take 25 continuous shots. However, my camera takes more than 30 shots, because the memory is so fast that some of the image are already written to the memory. Reviewed by: gatorbill from CA on Sep 18, 2004 Rating: Experience: 7 Days Strengths: large storage and fast read/write speed Weaknesses: NA Summary: I'm using this card in an Olympus C-5060 camera which has the latest firmware revision (v756-81). I tested the write time it took the card to write a 2592x1944 RAW image with a few other cards I have and it came in second place only to the Lexar WA (Write Accelerated) card, but not by much (0.08 sec). My data is as follows: Lexar 1GB CF w WA => 8.17 sec SanDisk 1GB CF Ultra II => 8.25 sec IBM 1GB CF Microdrive => 9.15 sec Canon 16MB CF => 21.3 sec Olympus 32MB xD => 11.46 sec In my Olympus C-5060 camera this card is estimated to hold the following number of pictures depending on the used resolution. RAW => 133 pictures SHQ => 273 pictures HQ => 801 pictures I would recommend this card because it is very fast, stores a lot of pictures, and carries a lifetime warranty. Reviewed by: carolynbL from TX on Jul 12, 2004 Rating: Experience: 2 Days Strengths: Excellent write speed when used with Nikon D70 Weaknesses: None so far Summary: Sandisk makes great CF cards at an affordable price. I am using this card professionally and it is performing flawlessly. I would recommend this card to anyone I know or dont know Reviewed by: yohan from CA on Sep 24, 2004 Rating: Experience: 2 Days Strengths: Fast, large capacity Weaknesses: price Summary: I'm using this in my 4 mega pixel Nikon 4500. Compressed images average a little under 1 MB each in standard mode and 1.3 MB in fine mode so you don't have to worry about running out of space (unless you take> 700 pictures before uploading). Also, moving files to my computer through my usb2 reader is very fast. Reviewed by: lmkelly from MN on Apr 22, 2004 Rating: Experience: Strengths: super fast Weaknesses: no weaknesses, other than a little pricey Summary: I love it and I wouldn't change it for anything. There's always a faster card supposedly on the market, but this one is actually the fastest, really. Even though it's pretty expensive, it really is worth every penny. Reviewed by: haomin06 from NY on May 17, 2004 Rating: Experience: 4 Days Strengths: Very fast in writing and reading data. Weaknesses: Not made in Taiwan or USA as I expected. Summary: I recently bought Canon Powershot S1 IS. ItĄŻs a 3.2MP camera and the supplied memory card (32MB) is just too small. I did a research and found out this card with reasonable price. So far as I used it, it works great (you wonĄŻt believe how fast it is). The only thing I am worried about is that it was manufactured in China. I thought it would be made in Taiwan or USA. No offense but I personally have bad experience for buying high-tech products that were made in China and broke in couple weeks. But the good news is that this product comes with life warranty and Sandisk Inc. claims they will replace it if it breaks. Reviewed by: duckyl30y from CA on Jun 28, 2004 Rating: Experience: 2 Days Strengths: Fast card, does what I need it to Weaknesses: None Summary: Ultra II card is so fast it can take pictures and keep my d70 buffer taking 3 shots/second. One of the best cards out there. I needed the 1gb for the large sizes of my pictures. Reviewed by: JeffreyAlan from WI on Sep 28, 2004 Rating: Experience: 2 Days Strengths: Very fast. Weaknesses: None that I know of. Summary: I am very pleased with the Scandisk Ultra II disk. It is small and holds an incredible amount of data. The best feature is probably the speed of the data transfer rate. Reviewed by: mender from WI on Jun 26, 2004 Rating: Experience: Strengths: Fast, faster, fastest. It loads & unloads 1,2,3 done. Lifetime warranty. Weaknesses: Not yet. Summary: It's done better then I expected, in the speed department. All other aspects are perfect, so far. I checked it out at Rob Galbraith's site. After reading his info, I felt confident in it's abilities. I bought it at Mwave, for nice price and quick delivery. Reviewed by: leadfoot_79 from CA on Oct 1, 2004 Rating: Experience: 1 Days Strengths: large capacity, relatively fast speed writing . . . plus, I like the looks of the card Weaknesses: Haven't found any yet Summary: I've had the 512 compactflash card for the last 4 months, it's also the Ultra II version and I love it. The 1G card has gotta be just as good . . . and the warranty is reassuring. Reviewed by: cfunk from TX on Jun 4, 2004 Rating: Experience: 2 Days Strengths: Great, fast card. Weaknesses: NA Summary: The card worked great out of the box. Lots of storage, very fast. I look forward to taking a great number of pictures on it. Reviewed by: tyran00 from CA on Jun 7, 2004 Rating: Experience: 7 Days Strengths: Ultra Fast. Weaknesses: None Summary: This is a very fast CF card, I would recommend getting it for any Digital Camera. Downloading pictures from my card reader is lightning fast. Reviewed by: halocline on Dec 8, 2004 Rating: Experience: 1 Days Strengths: Speed Weaknesses: NA Summary: I chose this card for the write speed to use in a digital camera. It doesn't disappoint! In my new SD300 it allows for unlimited video length. |
