Customer Reviews:

  • what I expected- solid
First- Shipping was 3 days faster than the tracker said it would take! A big bonus! Product overall is well built though one weld on the foot rest wasd "burned through" leaving a 1/8" hole in the weld. It is not a critical weight bearing part so i am not going to go through the return or having to take it apart process. As for assembly- usual slightly confusing directions. Not many nuts and bolts though! Had it together in 1/2 hour. Don't be an idiot like me and try it after dinner! Felt sick for an hour! Today was much better. I have learned to control my inversions and I do have to say, my back does feel better. As for storage- i was going to buy the nautilus set up for $199 at Sears but it was not storable- it basically was a monster! However, if you have the space the Nautilus machine is WAY better built! I can store the Paradigm by not using the pivot arm plates and losing the canvas frame things. Detach the tether strap and remove the bed for storage. Fits nicely in my bedroom corner. So far so good- not the amazing results others have talked about but i guess it depends on how bad your back is! For $125 it seems to be a decent deal. ...more info

  • Excellent - but just a little more money gets you a lot more extras
    Pros
    It works, period
    Inexpensive
    Folds up up against wall

    Cons
    No anti-skid rubber stabilizers
Just a little bit more money gets you an even better model
Adjusting the table is a bit harder than the manufacturer implies

I've been using the Paradigm 100 Inversion Table for a good six months now and I've found it to be even better than expected in terms of results. I used to crack my neck all the time (stress) and I've found that I almost never do that now. I use the table to do a form of sit ups which has resulted in increased strength all the way around - neck, back and abdomen.

I was able to pick this up as a Gold Box deal (100 bucks) so I thought it was a real bargain. A few days later the 500 model was selling for the same price so I wasn't happy. Even now, as of this writing, there's less than $30 difference between the two.

For that little bit of extra cost you get more padding around the ankles (I wear heavy socks and haven't had a problem - but other reviewers have), anti-skid rubber stabilizers (why this isn't standard on the 100 is beyond me!), and larger/easier to use arm rails (easier to pull yourself upright). For me when the difference was $80 (initially with the GB deal) I was willing to sacrifice these extras. But the difference at regular prices just isn't that big considering what you get. Don't get me wrong, I found the Paradigm 100 to be a great product, but the 500 model is just better and you don't pay that much more to get it. ...more info
  • great product-great price
Have been having bad back pin..turned out to be a ruptured disc, for the second time.
Just had surgery again yesterday, and look forward to using this as a way of strenthening the spinal core.
I did use it for a few weeks, until I began to hurt too bad. It did relieve pain when inverted.
Would recommend over the more expensive prducts. Very well built for the price....more info
  • End Back Pain Forever--but Don't Hang 90 Degree Vertically
I don't know why inversion tables aren't in every airport, hotel, gym, school and home! They are by far the most powerful modality for self-healing your back that I have ever found. My life was plagued by my bad back. Surgery followed by years of weekly acupuncture, chiropractic, massage and still horrible 6 week or longer episodes...you get the picture. I could not rely on my body and had to cancel important events, or show up crooked. And oh my gosh the pain!

Everything changed when I got an inversion table. Not at first. Takes a couple of weeks, and you must not use when you are in pain. My experience is that you should wait until the spasms are over, then use daily and GENTLY. Still in pain, there is a great chance hanging just irritate the musicles and nerves that need to calm. That's what happened to me. I made the spasms worse. (If you do use, stay on the horizontal.)

Also, and this is essential--when they sell these things on tv they always show these people showing off hanging upside down. It looks terrifying, and I would not do that in a million years.

My instruction book said there were no added benefits from hanging 9o degree vertically. So I don't. I set a comfortable 35 degree angle, just a gentle slope. I get a wonderful and gentle whole body stretch downwards (towards my head) and I did getthat blood to head rush at first.(Not so much now) I also only do it about 2 to 3 minutes daily, and still get GREAT benefit.

In fact, not hanging upside down for 20 minutes is probably the key to doing it daily. And what a nice total stretch. Lastly, when I get out off and out of the table, I bend my knees and then stand up. I also bend my knees to balance the table....more info

  • Solid Product
Fairly easy to assemble. I was able to safely hang just about upside down. The part that holds the ankles while I am inverted is a bit uncomfortable....more info
  • Alternative to Physical Therapy
I ordered this table based on the reviews that were on the site. Now that I have it I figured I would add my review for future buyers. This table is more than I expected. It is very well built. Both my husband and I have used this and are very happy. I have lower lumber problems that I have been going to physical therapy for months now. This was an alternative to paying extra for traction. It works great. No problems with my lower back going into spasams. Would recommend it and so would everybody in my family that has come by and tried it out....more info

  • Paradigm 100 inversion table
I am really happy with the Paradigm 100 Invesion table. The quality of the product is outstanding and extremely easy to assemble and set up. I use it almost everyday. It has really helped by back condition and it is relaxing to just "hang around" for a few minutes when you come from work. Great product at a great price. ...more info
  • good deal
I got this for my husband as he has some back problems. It is somewhat helpful in that respect. I also end up using it as part of my workout routine and I like it. The fact that it folds up is nice. the instructions were a little flawed but we figured out the glitch. I paid $100 for it (Amazon Gold deal), would not spend the $169 price, however. I am happy with the purchase since we can get dual use out of it....more info
  • Roger in PA
Very satisfied with the quality of the Paradigm 100 Inversion Table System. Very sturdy. By far the lowest priced table I found, $129.99, with quick free delivery...ordered at 1:30 pm Tuesday and received it FedEx at 5:00 pm Thursday. Had it set up easily in about 45 minutes. Wrenches were included with the table, so I didn't even have to use any of my own tools. I bought this because my chiropractor bought a decompression table a couple months ago, and it really helped relieve my lower back pinched nerve problem that had been causing me pain in my left leg. The recline angle can be easily controlled. I just started using it today...gradually at low angle to get accustomed to blood wanting to rush to my head. I followed the suggestion of a previous reviewer and wrapped my ankles with wash cloths folded once, and it works pretty well. I like the fact that this was about the lightest weight table that I found, only 47 lbs, which makes it easy to move around. Also, because it takes up space in the middle of my gameroom, I can fold the legs and stand it against the wall in my utility room when we have company. I highly recommend this product....more info
