First, it's an infant seat with a three-stage developmental system of toys designed to bring out baby's full potential in the first year. Then, as your child grows, you can use it as a toddler rocking chair (up to 40 pounds)!
Calming vibrations and gentle rocking motion help comfort and soothe baby in the infant seat. There's a foldout kickstand for feeing or sleeping and a two-position recline seat for baby's comfort. Machine-washable pad for easy clean-up. Requires 1 "D" battery (not included).
Developmental Guidelines: Use the upright position only when your child has developed enough upper body control to sit without leaning forward. Always use the restraint until your child is able to climb in and out of the chair unassisted.
- Promotes Comfort and Security: Calming vibrations and gentle rocking motion help comfort and soothe baby.
- Encourages Developing Motor Skills: As baby reaches to bat, grasp and pull hanging toys, eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills are refined
- Stimulates Senses: Colorful activities offer visual stimulation. Stimulates sense of touch with variety of textures.
- Better for Mom: Convenient space for feeding baby. Removable, machine-washable seat pad
- The Infant-to-Toddler Rocker is an infant seat that converts to a toddler rocker.
- In the infant mode baby is soothed with calming vibrations or mom's gentle rocking of the seat. There is a kickstand to lockout rocking for sleep or feeding. As the child grows, the seatback adjusts to a more upright position for a toddler up to 40lbs.
- In stage one, the toys are mounted to the toy bar and face downward towards baby for visual stimulation with bright colors and patterns.
- In stage two, the toys are unlinked from the toy bar and re-linked to the right and left of baby's grasp in addition to on the crotch strap for teething and to develop baby's sense of touch.
- Additionally the toy bar rotates out of the way to get baby in or out. The rear leg folds under to make it very flat and the toybar detaches for really easy take-along for Mom. A 3 pt. restraint is included and the pad is machine washable.
- Best chair ever!!
I have thrown the bouncy chair out! This is the best. It's so much sturdier and it supports my baby so much better. Also he LOVES it. He hated the bouncy chair. I see these chairs in all the local daycare centers and I always wanted to get one. Now that I have one I don't know why I never bought one before. This will last so much longer than any bouncy chair and has way more YEARS of life than an expensive Papasan chair. Please those things are such a waste of money! I think I may have to buy another one since my 19 month old is wanting to use this one but my 5 week old son is in it. Can't have her trying to sit on his lap! I love everything about this chair. My baby is a quiet (except when he's crying) baby. Well after 2 minutes in this chair he kicked his legs and it made the toys move. He started to make sounds and smile and kick more and more. It's the only thing he's interacted with. I love it and I love watching him in it. Best $40 I've ever spent!...more info
- Love it, used with three kids and for my business
[...] I think this is better for babies that have gone beyond the newborn stage until 8-9 months, all though it would work for newborns too, just not as well. One thing I like about the seat is it has a metal peice you can flip forward to act as a brake, so it doesn't have to be in "rocking" postion at all times. Thanks! If you have any questions contact me [...]...more info
- I love this rocker
I purchased this rocker for my grandson when he was one month old - he's 4 months old now. And he sits in the rocker almost every day to watch his Baby Einstein videos. When he has an upset stomach, the vibrations seem to help him work it out! I had researched different seats before purchasing this one and am 100% happy with it. I assembled the rocker myself, and didn't have any problems understanding the directions....more info
- Avery's happy chair
I bought this seat for my granddaughter and she loves it. She can reach and play with the toys now and she just laughs and laughs. She likes to kick her feet and watch the toys move. Follow-up... She is 14 months old now and she sits in this rocker every day. It is easy for the toddler to get into and
play. This is her chair and we both love it! One of the best purchases I made for her.
- Great product!
This is the second rocker like this that I purchased. When my oldest son was born we were given one. He was a large baby and fit really well in this chair- it replaced our bouncer. As he got bigger he still enjoyed using it. We recently had twins and got so much use out of the first rocker that we decided we needed a second one. My oldest, who is now 2, would still like to continue to use this if it didn't now belong to his brothers. It has great longevity- one of the few baby products that I was able to use for years rather than months or weeks. ...more info
- Wish FP would please with toddler toys as much as baby...
Ok, I have to say that since I became a mom 3 yrs. ago, I have LOVED FP toys! And this bouncy seat/rocker has been one of my favorites! I gave it up recently when my 1 1/2 yr. old was tired of it after using it with my now 3 yr. old AND I just have to say that it was a life-saver sometimes! I wish all their stuff was this good! You'll have to read more of my reviews about OTHER toys to see what disappointed me....
This bouncy/toddler rocker is a good buy! You won't regret it!...more info
- My son flipped up-side-down in this chair!!
We had this chair for about a month and I was meaning to come online and post a positive review. I thought it was made nice and kept my son happy and comfortable. He's 7 months and 23 pounds... well below the 40 pound limit. I had him strapped into the chair on the floor. The toy bar was up and the kick-stand was back so it was in the rocking position. I was on the other side of the room and heard him scream. When I turned around the chair was turned over and my son was hanging up-side-down!!! Had he been on a hard surface.. we might not have had a happy ending. Besides being scared... he was fine. The chair is not safe....more info
- SO Worth the $
This is a great product. The price is comparable to other bouncer seats, but this one also rocks and can hold a toddler (which other bouncers don't). My infant likes the activity bar, and likes to just hang out in the chair without the bar, too....more info
- Infant-To-Toddler Rocker
I ordered this Infant to Toddler Rocker for my 6 month old Grandson. He is just about out of his Boppy seat and I loved that this will hold up to 40 lbs. My daughter was so impressed with it that she bought one for her home (I'm in NJ and she is in CA). It was very easy to assemble and the baby was very comfortable in it. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone. Michelle Graham...more info
- good buy
We bought our first rocker 10 years ago for our first child and bought this one new this year for #5 - what an improvement over the old designs! I like that the rocker can be locked in position, and that the toy bar is locked in unless you want to remove it. Easy to remove fabric seat and usable as a chair as baby gets older. Very versatile....more info
- Good toy
This product is OK. The one reason I do love it is my son can sit in it and eat. I kind of use it as a high chair :) The toys that attach to it aren't that great, wish they were more attractive to play with!...more info
- Great Product
I bought it when my daughter was born, and now she is 4 and still loves it. After 4 years of use, my children finally managed to break it, but it is still usable (we glued the plastic part that broke) and my 16 months old still has fun seating on it!
The only con is that I bought much cheaper than it costs now, but it is still a good buy.
- Good for newborns
I got this as a gift and it was great for my newborn son. It has a recline position which let him sleep comfortably. Now my son is three months old and gets bored in it but is still good for when I need to set him down. I would recommend this product for newborns especially. Older infants might get bored with it....more info
- Fisher Price infant to toddler rocker
Bought this rocker/seat for our grandson's visit and it was perfect. Attached toys were entertaining for him and quality of the item for the price was a nice surprise.
Would reccommend this to any grandparent! ...more info
- Delivery awful
When I received this product, the package was destroyed and the product bent. I tried calling Target, and there was nothing they would do for me. I have an infant and am now using a possibly dangerous product. One of the runners was bent during shipment. Because we didn't realize this until we put it together, Target wouldn't let us return it since the package was opened and couldn't be put back in its original state. The rocker is great, but I paid for a brand new one and received a damaged item instead. I'm very angry that this happened and will think twice about buying anything from this company again....more info
- This is our baby MUST HAVE!
We received this chair at our baby shower back in 2005. We have been using it almost every day with our daughter since the day she came home from the hospital!!! It lays almost completely flat, and she used to sleep in it a lot as a baby...with the vibrate feature on......as she got a few months old, she used to LOVE the toy bar and would "talk" to the animals...which she eventually learned how to bat at and grab the cow and make it play music!
Fast forward 3 years later...and we still use it daily!!! The toy bar has long been removed....and it has been a rocking chair for about 2 years now! My daughter still sits in it daily when she watches tv! We love this chair and have definetely got a TON of use out of it!!...more info
- Worth every penny...works well, lasts forever!!
This has got to be one of the best baby products we purchased!
In between baby one and baby two - which was 4 years, most things did not last or were simply not useful so we got rid of them...this however stuck around!
Our oldest was 9 months when we got this...is worked great, was portable and she loved sitting in it - the rocking motion or vibration motion was relaxing; the toys entertaining.
4 years later we still have it and she still uses it , albeit without the toy bar. It more than accomodates a 4 year old, and she will sit in this to read, watch tv - and it works perfectly! Now our new baby is getting use out of it - it has held up to numerous washes, so looks pretty good!
We are now going to buy another so they each have one - for the price you would not expect it to last or work so long, but it does making this a steel!!
This is simple, classic and you certainly get a great deal for the price!!
higly recommend this baby item!!...more info
- Perfect alternative to a bouncy seat
I bought this rocker chair because my 6 month old son was wearing out his bouncy seat. He nearly reached the floor weighing in at 17 lbs. this chair also allows me to feed him without having that rocking motion. overall, great buy after bouncy chairs hit the floor!!!!...more info
This rocker has been so helpful to me when I need my hands free and a safe place to put my daughter! I registered for this because I knew three other babies that had it and loved it. We started using it when our daughter was one month old. Friends/family had stopped coming around to help each day so I could no longer just hand the baby off when I needed to eat, go to the restroom, or do the dishes, etc., and baby would scream if I put her down. So I started putting the rocker next to me and rocking it with my foot while I made/ate my meals each day or typed at the computer. Now that she's older (12 weeks) and content for longer without being rocked, I can even put her in her rocker just outside the shower and talk/sing to her while I get ready. She's never really liked the vibration feature as the other babies I know do, but she loves to rock. If you place it on a hard floor baby can rock herself when she kicks. The toy attachments still seem to overstimulate her at this point (she stares at them way too hard and gets very frustrated) so I just dont use them. Since I breastfeed, I still hold my baby most of the day, but when I need to get things done where she can still be right next to me this rocker has been a real life saver. Even if you're a big proponent of slings and wraps as I am, there are times when it's safer not to "wear" your baby, e.g. eating, cooking, restroom. A couple things I recommend: put a soft hand towel or blanket under a younger baby's head in it because the fabric is a little rough on their heads/hair if they move around a lot--just be sure you're with them at all times if you do. If your baby falls asleep in the rocker, you'll probably want to roll up a soft cloth and place it between their head and the frame so their head and neck are supported....more info
- Great bouncer/chair
I love that this bouncer has a second life as a chair once my daughter is a little older. What I don't like is the velcro tabs that hold the toys. Rings would've much better- then I could attach some of her other toys to the bar and keep her from getting bored with the same three farm animals day after day. ...more info
- nice size rocker
We like using this rocker for our baby. He is on the tall size, and he quickly outgrew his other rocker (Fisher Price Rainforest Rocker). He likes this one a lot and it is nice that it converts to a toddler ricker when he gets a little older...more info
- wonderful thing to have around the house
I have this rocker's last year's version. It was a wonderful thing to have until my son was 7-8 months old. We started using it when he was 1 months old and could hold his head up. He would be in it either sitting or reclining back. Once he got old enough and could sit up, he would just use it in the kick back position, otherwise he would lean forward and could tip over. But for 7 months we got good use out of it - a safe place to leave an infant when you are doing chores around the house. ...more info
- Safe and durable
We purchased this product for relative in India and it made the long journey intact. The baby enjoys being in it and it frees up the mother's arms for other things....more info
- Not what I wanted
It's nice this rocker can be used for so long (all the way to the toddler stage) but I didn't even want to keep it out once my baby could sit up on his own. That's because I'm in a small apartment and there was no room for it. What I really wanted was a bouncer seat but this seat only rocks. I prefer a seat that bounces when the baby kicks. Also, we had to take off the toy bar because my son would just get frustrated he couldn't grab the toys and put them in his mouth. ...more info
- We love it
We have been using this rocker since our baby was 2 months old. This is a wonderful thing! He does not like sitting in his car seat (it's a bit too snug for him), so we take this one with us when we go visit our friends. It's light, easily washable, you can attach toys close to baby's hands, the safety belt is long enough.
We do not use vibration function since our baby does not like it but we use rocking a lot. We put our baby in front of a TV in it when he watches a baby program.
I read a review about a baby who fell down and I'll make sure that if I leave my son alone in the chair, I put it in a sturdy position, so he would not fall....more info
- Endless Toddler Fun
We got this as a hand-me-down when my son was 14 mos. He has loved it since day one. He's now 20 mos. and still sits in it at least 2 - 3 times per day. He loves to read in there, rock his animals, and kick back with a sippie cup at the end of a hard day. He can be pretty rough, but has never managed to tip it over or fall out.
Because he got it so late, I can't comment on the infant usage, but great fun for toddlers....more info
- NOT SAFE FOR INFANTS WHO SIT UPRIGHT
We, too, had an accident with this product. Just today, my 7 month old daughter (21 pounds) flipped the seat forward and landed on her forehead on our hardwood floor. Big egg on forehead above eye. If your infant can sit upright and leans forward -- and is on the heavier side -- it's going to flip.
Any product that causes an accident does not deserve more than one star no matter what....more info
