Product Description

We think the best brownies have moist centers, a paper-thin crackly crust, and lots of chewy edges. If you agree, you'll love the Edge Brownie Pan -- it's the only gourmet brownie pan that adds two chewy edges to every brownie! The award-winning design also improves baking performance by circulating heat evenly to the pan's middle, where food typically takes longer to bake. The Edge Brownie Pan has a single baking chamber that allows brownie batter to settle evenly, and the 9" x 12" size is a perfect fit for box mixes, as well as most recipes for 9" x 9" and 9" x 13" conventional pans. A durable nonstick coating makes it easy to clean, and the recessed handles are an easy grab when the pan is turned upside down. Widely acclaimed for its innovation and quality since its launch in 2006, the Edge Brownie Pan has quickly become a best-seller -- and has garnered rave reviews from bakers everywhere. The Edge Brownie Pan is 100% made in the USA, and each pan comes complete with a flexible nylon spatula and a brownie recipes insert.

Features:
  • Adds two chewy edges to every brownie.
  • Fits standard box mixes with no adjustments necessary.
  • One continuous chamber, so batter can be easily spread.
  • Durable nonstick coating and heavy gauge cast aluminum construction.
  • Made in the USA, nylon spatula and brownie recipes included.

Customer Reviews:

  • Must have for the kitchen!
I ordered one of these after seeing one at my sister's house. Frankly, it's the best thing to come along in terms of bakeware in a long time! The non-stick surface is amazing and the mega-edge designs makes every piece "desirable". Fantastic for brownies, cake etc. Had a lot of success with corn bread as well. The clean-up is very easy and the included spatula is great as well. If I were to critique one thing it would be lack of detail with the amount of mix it can use when you go "off box recipe" - as in you don't just make a box of brownies but use a mix (corn bread) - not hard to figure out though.

  • Worth it - even if you have to wash by hand
My son saw this pan advertised in an in-flight magazine and mentioned it to the family while home from college. Everyone, especially my wife, was excited (I was excited because they were - I prefer the soft center cuts). I searched for it on the internet and, of course, Amazon was selling it for much less. My son purchased it as a Christmas present for his mother. She was delighted and it works as a advertised, producing perfect brownies with edge cuts in every bite. Everybody is happy, but me, as I am just not an edge man. But I am happy because everybody else is and because I'm more healthy for eating fewer brownies. One product negative; my wife says it is not dishwasher safe and so I'll be washing it by hand....more info
  • awesome
This quite possibly is one of the best things ever invented for brownies. my brother bought this for my dad for his b-day and no we don't even make brownies in a regular pan. ...more info
  • Perfect Brownies
I had no trouble spreading the batter evenly... just takes a little patience. EVERY brownie turned out perfect. Easy to cut into pieces. Top of the line quality pan. I checked the batter 5 minutes earlier than recommended on the box. You'll have to play with the time depending on your taste and your oven. The only downside, which I don't think is one but my husband does, is that if you love ooey, gooey, practically raw brownies that you can get from the middle of a traditional pan, this pan won't work for you. Everything is baked evenly....more info

  • What an amazing brownie pan!
Because this pan is intended for the "brownie edge lover" if you aren't one stop reading here. This is not the pan for you.

Now if you're still reading then you must have heard the rumors about this pan. A friend of a friend told you or maybe someone brought them to a potluck, either way you're in the right place. For months I listened to people rave about the Baker's Edge Nonstick Edge Brownie Pan. Not being one that makes brownies more than once a month I just couldn't convince myself to spend over $30 on a pan? Now that I have it I will never go back to a standard pan for brownies.

    Here's all the good stuff:
~They all have at least 2 chewy edges, some even 3!
~The non-stick truly is! No oiling or flouring is necessary, just bake, cut and remove.
~Clean up is easy. A little hot water, soap, rinse, dry and voil¨¤!

As for some of the issues others have mentioned:
~Getting the batter into the pan does take more effort. The easiest way I have found is to use a large spoon and evenly distribute spoonfuls of batter in it. Then with the back of the spoon I go through and spread it out evenly. (You can also smack the pan on the counter a couple time to level it out more if you're really worried about it.)
~Cutting them is a non-issue. The pan comes with a little plastic server. I hold it straight up and down and cut into the brownie. Remove and do the next. You can also turn the pan upside down on a cutting board and just cut with a knife.

I should WARN you though...I went from making brownies once a month to about once a week now. I did post some pictures on the product page to show you the batch I made last night - Pecan Brownies. One package of Betty Crocker Surpreme Brownies, Hershey's Ultimate Fudge, 21-Ounces (Pack of 6), 6 ounces of pecans Diamond Shelled Pecans, 6-Ounce Bags (Pack of 4), make and bake as directed. A gourmet treat!

  • Simply The BEST!!!!!
I just received my pan and I absolutely love this pan! Not only did the brownies come out perfect, but the quality of this pan is unbelievable!!!! If you are unsure about purchasing this, go for it! I think that this is one of the best purchases in bakeware that one can make!...more info
  • Loss of non-stick finish
When I first received this pan, I loved it. It made the best brownies: evenly cooked with perfect edges. Removal of the brownies was easy. Due to the expense of this pan, it was cleaned by hand washing immediately after removing brownies with the convenient plastic spatula provided with the pan. Cleaning was done with mild detergent and never in the dish washer. I even stored the pan in the box it was received in to prevent anything from scratching it. Never the less, the non-stick finish has started to chip after 6 months of use (pan used about twice a month). AT the price charged, I am very disappointed. • Love it!
I bought this pan because I've never been able to gauge when brownies were finished baking. I have no problems with any other cake or cookie, but for some reason, brownies always confound me. They're too cakey, they're too gooey, I could never win. My first try with the Baker's Edge was semi-successful. They baked in about 11 minutes and I should have left them in for a few more... but they were yummy... if you like your brownies gooey. The second try, I baked the brownies for about 15-17 minutes (sorry, I never use a timer) and they came out perfectly! I love this pan. They were a little crispy on the outsides, chewy in the middle, perfect. You can't fail. Keep in mind though that the brownies will cook much faster with this pan, and don't bake for the time that it says on the box. I used Ghiardelli chocolate chunk brownie mix both times. Delicious....more info
