Customer Reviews:

  • Great Small Mixer
This is a great mixer for a very low price.

I use this mixer to have multiple inputs come out of my computer speakers. (2 computers, XM radio, and sometimes dvd player/video game system)

I do not experience any extra noise in any of the channels unless the trim on channels 1 or 2 is turned all the way up.
The EQ settings are great for what I need.

I recommend this if you need something small, portable, and cheap....more info
  • A Good Bang for the Buck
I found this product very satisfactory for my limited use to entertain my friends and family. The product is easy to use and it has many options to connect to other equipments such as computer, TV or AV receiver. It feels solid in its construction. The only con. I have is that it does not not have a power off switch. I recommend this product....more info
  • great buy
A great buy for the price. Easy to use, does what it says. You can output to record from like 3 different places on the board, I just use the Tape/Aux out channel. The mic preamp wasn't as spectacular as the description says, but it works great....more info
  • Great Mixer Board
I bought this board for my husband who had recently finished building a recording studio in our house. He has used it for voice-overs and to record his band and has been overwhelmingly satisfied with both its quality and efficiency. I recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable mixer to use at home....more info
  • behringer mixer
I would have liked to see at least 2 XLR outputs also but I guess that would be too expensive to build into a small inexpensive mixer like this. it's a great product and does what it says it will do. and amazon of course shipped it right away as usual...more info
  • Great little mixer
Great value for money, I use the two stereo inputs to mix both my laptop and main computer out to 2 sets of monitor, the "Ctrl room" knob comes in really handy for this, couldn't ask for more for $50-$60; it even has Phantom power for the mono XLR inputs. ...more info
  • Fluke, or junk?
Mine came broken, straight out of the box. I needed this for a live gig. I use a lot of Behringer stuff because it is low-cost, but very quiet and reliable stuff.

Lately though, I've been having bad luck with Behringer. I bought a mulitple headphone rackmount unit and it was humming and buzzing. I looked online and many others were complaining about it. I exchanged it for another and it did the same thing right out of the box so I took it back and got the 4-channel version and it too had a buzz in it. Then I got this unit from Amazon and it came dead. The unit would light up, but that was it. Dead.

Amazon was cool about refunding my money, so that's cool, but this unit being broken straight out of the box caused me a lot of grief as I received this unit the day before the gig and didn't find out it was broken until it came time to use it, LIVE! Luckily I had a backup... Also a behringer of the same size, that I've had for about 7 years now and it's been great. Go figure.

Anyway, I hope Behringer isn't going down the tubes. I've not happy with the last four Behringer products I purchased. I might be done with them now....more info
  • Great little mixer!
Behringer products have a great reputation which is why I was skeptical about paying 50 bucks for an 8-input mixer. My intention for this product was simple yet unorthodox: I wanted to use it for recording a drum set. I wanted to do it through my M-Audio ProFire 610. I had 4 mics, 4 stands and a 5 piece drum set. I love my ProFire610 it is reliable and the preamp is clean and strong. I have no gripe with it it's just that the preamp only works on two of the 6 inputs, so I figure if I get a mixer I can use ITS preamped channels and run them through the 1/4" inputs on my interface. Well, it worked. It worked GREAT. Not only did it sound great but I was able to have more control over the sound of each individual mic. Low noise, great sound and I still had 4 1/4" inputs on my mixer to play around with. With my drum set experiment over I now had an 8 input mixer at my disposal. Add two monitors and you've got yourself a nice little PA. I couldn't be happier. It works fantastic for small gigs or (God forbid) house parties.
It may not be the prettiest looking mixer but its a very simple, self explanatory and effective mixer. I didn't need all the flash and the input/output jacks on the top is WAY better than running them out the back of the unit (I hate that!). The EQ setup for each channel is basic: Hi, Mid, Low, FX , Pan and Level. Having an FX send is awesome when using it live. I didn't think a tiny little mixer like this would accommodate that. (the thing is only 9"x7") It's also got a control room output with volume which you can use for more monitors if need be ;) The Xenyx 802 is a great buy. Had I known I would like it this much I would have paid the extra $25 and gotten the 12 channel one....more info
  • Fantastic for the price
Considering the upward trend in pricing on entry level audio electronics as of late (thanks to podcasting...) this unit easily satisfies a multitude of requirements at a bargain price. The build quality is on par with other Behringer products (read: all but perfect), noise is not an issue (SNR 110dB), the "British" (haha) style EQ is clean and the thing just works.

I too complain of no power button. A soft-on toggle/rocker would have been a nice addition, given the recommended power-on procedure (Connect power supply to board, then plug supply into the wall) but I suppose it could be easily solved with a remote control outlet....more info
  • Nice Mixer
Giving the low price of this Mixer.
It's a very nice one for entry level use....more info
  • Great headphone amp!
These are used all over our post facility for driving headphones for Pro Tools music edit systems, very reliable and cost effective. We spent three times the amount for Rolls Headphone Amps that buzzed, hummed and had poor gain. We have even used the mic pre on rare occasion and have been very satisfied with the audio quality. Don't be put off by the low price, well worth it....more info
  • Great Mixer from Behringer
A lot of people have reviewed this product as poor quality and bad noise problems across many websites that carry this product. I don't know if they're used to using yamaha or mackie mixer boards, but this thing is awesome. I have had no problems with noise or quality of this product. I use this mixer with an older Peavey microphone to record my podcast at www.doyleclark.com

  • Very Happy
Amazon remains my place to shop for almost everything. They cover all the bases and never disappoint. Shipped quickly and packed properly. Thank you Amazon.

Only failing is the should be easy ability to email a person with a problem or question. It takes forever to figure out what to do and even then it doesn't address what you wanted to do. My 2 cents on your only failing.

  • Great quality mixer for the price!
I bought this mixer to use during my parents anniversary party and have also used it to perform some singing at church. I was able to successfully mix 3 microphones (using the 2 mic channels) and music from my ipod. It allowed for more than enough flexibility and the sound quality was excellent! I highly recommend this product!...more info
