Product Description

The MHF B/W series Hands-Free Intercom System is a cost effective solution to enhancing the level of security for your home or business. Offering similar features as the CHF color series, this system is easy to install and easy to operate. With the hands-free intercom system, you can safely identify visitors before answering. Simply by ringing the doorbell, the system transmits live audio and video directly to the monitor. At that point, you have the choice to enable intercom communication with one touch of a button. With the built-in 32 picture memory function, each picture is date and time stamped to show you who was at your door even when you are not home. Installation is a quick and easy. The system supports a wide range of wires from CAT5 (24AWG) to 18AWG. Installers may also utilize the wires from an existing door chime. The hands free intercom system is a non expandable One to One system.

Features:
  • 4 inch B/W FLAT CRT monitor
  • 32 picture memory with date and time stamp
  • Adjustable speaker volume and chime volume
  • N/O contacts for remote door release (lock not included)
  • Door status (open/close) indicator (contacts not included).
Customer Reviews:
  • Does what it says it will
This intercom is relatively easy to hook up, works well with the optional magnetic door release that our locksmith installed. The black and white picture resolution is fine even at twilight. The manual doesn't cover much troubleshooting and left out a few things like how to set the clock (Who would have guessed it'd be Year/Month/Day), but a phone call to Cyrex got a prompt, knowledgeable technician to explain a few details. He said they were working on a new manual, so no biggie. It has a neat feature of recording a snapshot the last 32 times the doorbell rings and will blink, like and answering machine, if you miss answering the door when someone calls on you. With the press of a button you can cycle through the photos and see who you missed, and or who else came by when you weren't around as a reference. Pretty nifty, but not in the book....more info
