Customer Reviews:

  • The wrong GC for my mobo
I can not really type up a review because this was not the correct graphics card for my motherboard......more info
  • Good card
I want to point out this card works in all AGP >3.0 slots (AGP4, pro)
It uses DVI-I (Integrated) interface (DVI-D and DVI-A)

Pros: It does a great job. It was the only card I could find for my AGP Pro socket, but it does the job well

Cons: It positions the screen 4-5 inches to the right. Computer monitors can correct for this. I have mine connected to a TV and NVIDIA drivers will not change screen position, so I have to user a pretty substantial overlay to correct for this.
In other words, it works fine, but could cause problems for other people using TV monitors....more info
  • Works great, Cheap
I wanted to buy a video card to replace my dead one. Not wanting to buy a whole new computer yet, I started searching for a cheap, yet reliable AGP card. I came across this one and couldn't pass this deal. This video card is great for word processing and watching videos too. I'm not much a hardcore gamer so this is all I need. It came really quick too! Thanks Amazon!...more info
  • Great product for the price!
bought this as a small upgrade for my computer. I do minor gaming and other basic computer uses. Great product for the price. Works great! I recommend this....more info
  • almost a 5
for those of us still dealing with agp connectors this is one of the few available boards that will support the newer EA games that my grandkids are addicted to. The missing star reflects the fact that the package is basically an OEM configuration with no documentation. I'm a bit smarter than the average bear with this stuff, so finding what comfort I needed on the web site was OK. A less experienced (or aware) user might have problems. Other than that gripe the install was clean and the board performs to expectations....more info
  • An economic AGP Video Card
Easy to install. Used in an older Dell computer with AGP socket. Not tried in games applications. Effective when used with photoshop applications. Economically priced. Suitable for displays using DVI or VGA connectors....more info
  • Just a word of warning
I got this card for a computer that met all of the technical requirements (power supply, motherboard, etc.) and when I installed it with all the correct drivers, it seemed to work fine. However, after two weeks of use, it began to randomly shut down the computer and crazy colored lines started appearing all over the screen. The display would go black, and the computer would barely even work. Now, I know that this was a problem with the card because as soon as I removed it, the computer worked perfectly. So, if you're willing to take a risk, then buy this card. But I would suggest getting a different one.

On a side note, in the two weeks that it worked properly, the functionality was very minimal. It doesn't run any 3D games (like battlefield 2, 2142, call of duty 2) well at all, so if you want this for gaming, trust me; do not get this card! But if you just want it for everyday tasks like going on the internet or word processing, then it does have a pretty display with vibrant colors.

I just returned mine, and I am hoping to get a decent refund....more info

  • New device for computer
Great product ! Did and does what it promised. One problem I do have is with the shipping :( I do wish there was more than one shipping option available. The reason I say this is that my shipment was received at a location not far from here, it arrived there around 11:50 or so on a Friday morning, and it was NOT delivered until Monday afternoon. And this with next day shipping. Bad shipper, very VERY bad shipper, no remorse on their part. ...more info
  • Very Pleased
I had an ATI Radeon 9500 Pro video card with 128 MB of memory. I decided to keep my AGP motherboard and take a chance with the EVGA 6200 with 256 MB of memory. I am really pleased with this video card..especially the price. This card doesn't have a fan like my old one, but my motherboard temp is actually lower than it was. The digital video with my Samsung 22" LCD looks great. If you are considering getting this card, I recommend it. Just remember to remove your old video drivers before you shut down and remove the card. Also..download the latest drivers from EVGA web site. ...more info
  • Excellent and a great price, too!
We got this video card for our faithful Gateway PC (circa 2003, WinXP), since the original card did not support a RC model plane flight simulator program. This new card performs great, no installation nor viewing problems, and it's cheaper than most other cards. Love it, recommend it....more info
  • Perfect card for my needs
The EVGA GeForce 6200 card was perfect for my needs. I have a circa 2003 Pentium 4 machine with only AGP and PCI slots. I wanted to run dual monitors and Windows 7 Beta. Installation was easy, I just popped my old 8MB card out of the AGP slot and inserted this new 256MB card. On the first boot up (with no drivers installed), Windows 7 Beta didn't recognized both monitors. I then installed the drivers that came on a CD with the card, rebooted and Win7beta picked up both monitors and worked perfectly. Easy peasy. I do no gaming so I can't speak to the DirectX 9 capability or anything. For my needs, $40 bucks to get to beautiful monitors working is a bargain. ...more info
