Customer Reviews:

  • works, but eggs stick!
This does poach the eggs, but even with lots of cooking spray they do stick. I even tried spray and butter, and they still stuck. The handles to each egg section get very hot, and they are difficult to grasp with a hotpad. ...more info
  • Not as advertised
The details said the poacher was nonstick inside and out. That was not the case. The inserts were plastic and stuck more than anything. The merchant was good about returning my money when I returned the poacher....more info
  • Plastic Egg Cups = Bad Idea
The plastic egg cups insulate the eggs from cooking. This means the eggs cook a little from the top due to steam. My dad had to boil so long the pan went dry and the cups caught on fire!!!...more info
  • Farberware Egg Poacher
My husband is thrilled with his new egg poacher. He likes the idea that 4 eggs can be cooked at the same time. The egg cups are fairly non-stick as long as he uses the cooking spray. He has found them to be much easier to clean than our previous egg poacher....more info
  • My Brother's Favorite
My brother remembers an old Farberware steel egg poacher from the 50's and asked for one for Christmas. He did not want an electric one, he wanted a stove top. He was very pleased and says the eggs are excellent and the instructions as to cooking time very precise....more info
  • Easy to use
a nice change from soft boiled.... adds varity to your breakfast routine, easy clean up....more info
  • Not worth buying
This poacher has plastic egg cups. I didn't know this when I ordered it. I was expecting teflon coated metal ones. The plastic cups take longer to cook and the eggs don't drop out very well....more info
  • Don't Buy This One
The plastic inserts are not good at all. They are not a non-stick surface. You cannot get the eggs out without destroying the egg....more info
