Product Description

Trust All-Clad's stainless steel stock pots to cook soups, stews, pasta and stocks to mouth-watering perfection. Stainless steel outside and inside with a layer of heat conducting aluminum on the bottom yield a pot that heats quickly and evenly, doesn't react with food, and maintains its good looks over a lifetime of service. This handy set includes two steamer baskets. Use the larger one for clams, lobsters, pasta, and corn on the cob. The smaller one would be handy for shrimp and vegetables.

Reach for the All-Clad 12-quart multi-cooker whenever you cook up a big batch of pasta, a mess of corn on the cob, or clams for a crowd. Oven-safe to 500 degrees F, the multi-cooker comes with riveted stainless-steel handles. The included pasta basket and steamer basket feature lift-out handles to simplify draining and can be set aside if you are cooking soup or chili. The bestseller among All-Clad's renowned cookware collections, the Stainless line provides serious and professional cooks all the virtues that make All-Clad's worldwide reputation unsurpassed. Key to its high performance is a three-ply, bonded construction. Sandwiched between layers of stainless steel is a thick core of pure aluminum that spreads heat evenly across the bottoms of pots and pans and all the way up the sides. The interior is 18/10 highly polished stainless steel, so it's stick-resistant as well as stain- and corrosion-resistant. The exterior is gleaming, magnetic stainless steel that works on induction as well as conventional stovetops, and, with care, remains beautiful during this cookware's lifetime warranty against defects--and beyond. --Fred Brack

From the Manufacturer
All-Clad Stainless Construction
Each piece of All-Clad cookware features a unique metal bonding construction. All-Clad Stainless cookware sandwiches a thick core of three separate layers of aluminum between an easy-to-clean, highly polished 18/10 stainless-steel cooking surface and a magnetic stainless-steel exterior. The aluminum core retains heat and evenly distributes it along the bottom and up the sidewalls of the cookware. The stainless interior is stick-resistant and cleans easily. The magnetic stainless-steel exterior gives the cookware a gleaming finish. All-Clad Stainless also features the company¡¯s signature "stay-cool" long handles, lids fashioned from gleaming 18/10 stainless steel, and highly durable stainless-steel rivets. All-Clad Stainless cookware is one of five collections from All-Clad Metalcrafters. Designed to work on conventional gas and electric ranges, as well as induction cooktops, All-Clad Stainless cookware is the best-selling collection in a full line that includes All-Clad LTD, Cop-R-Chef, Master Chef 2, and Copper Core.

Features and Benefits
All-Clad pans with a stainless interior cooking surface are oven-safe up to 500 degrees. All-Clad pans with a non-stick cooking surface are oven-safe up to 400 degrees, but should not be used under the broiler. We recommend using a low to medium temperature when cooking with All-Clad. Higher heats are not necessary and may cause discoloration (see cleaning instructions below). Other features include:

  • Beautifully polished, magnetic stainless exterior layer.
  • Pure aluminum core that not only covers the bottom of the pan but also extends up the sides. This allows for great heat conductivity as well as an even heat distribution so you won¡¯t have "hot spots" when cooking.
  • Stainless-steel interior layer/cooking surface.
  • Long, polished stainless, stay-cool handles.
  • Sturdy, non-corrosive stainless-steel rivets won't react with foods.
  • Polished stainless-steel lids fit evenly with the pan¡¯s edges to seal in flavor of your foods.
  • The All-Clad Stainless collection is compatible with an induction stovetop (with the exception of a few pieces) in addition to gas and electric stovetops.
  • The Stainless collection is dishwasher-safe, excluding pieces with a nonstick cooking surface.

Warranty
From date of purchase, All-Clad guarantees to repair or replace any item found defective in material, construction or workmanship under normal use and following care instructions. This excludes damage from misuse or abuse. Minor imperfections and slight color variations are normal.

Cleaning Instructions
For daily cleaning, warm soapy water is sufficient. Clean your All-Clad thoroughly after each use. Food films left of the pan may cause discoloration and sticking. To get rid of stuck-on food or discoloration and stains from using too high of a heat, we recommend cleaning your All-Clad with a product called Bar Keeper¡¯s Friend. To use the Bar Keeper¡¯s Friend, simply use a soft cloth or sponge and water and make into a soupy paste. This can be used on the interior, as well as the exterior of your All-Clad (excluding the Cop-R-Chef). The Bar Keeper¡¯s Friend can also be used on the exterior of the All-Clad Stainless collection, LTD collection, and MC2 collection. For cleaning of the Cop-R-Chef exterior, simply use a brass/copper cleaner. If your water has a high iron content, you may notice a rusty discoloration. Use Bar Keeper¡¯s Friend to remove it.

Customer Reviews:

  • Excellent Stock Pot and Amazing Value!
Ok, this is obviously not the same as the traditional All Clad stock pots, if it was it would be more then triple the price of this one without the 2 inserts. It is part of the disk bottom collection, however it is still top quality stainless steel and very well made. I certainly would not consider it secondary. It is a little lighter in weight than the traditional All Clad but it is not a light weight pot by any means. It is great for pasta, soup, stew, steaming veggies, etc. You will love it and you can't beat the price. It is very easy to clean and the inserts can be stacked and stored inside. A+

Tip: If you should get something stuck to the stainless steel use a product called "Bar Keepers Friend" to clean it. Most supermarkets have it and Kitchen Etc. and Bed, Bath and Beyond carry it too. The container (like a Comet can) is gold with blue and white writing. All Clad recommends it for cleaning stainless steel and it works like a dream and is very inexpensive....more info

  • I am satisfied.
I was hold back because it's made in China.
Otherwise, it is better than what I guess.
This pot is heavier than other brand(caphalon, anolon, etc.)so that it's stable and evenly cooked.
Most of all the reason I was satisfied is its compositions.
I don't need a another pot for pre cook, there is some baskets already.
    Also looks nice.

  • Not Induction Compatible
The product looks very nice so I did not want to 1 star it or such. It is shown as induction compatible in the description but that is not the case. Apparently all but a few pieces in the stainless line are induction capable and this is one of the exceptions. I called All Clad to find this out after it would not work on my cook top....more info
  • The Perfect Pot
I was a bit leery about buying this pot but have been really impressed with it. After folks mentioned in reviews that it wasn't heavy, I expected something flimsy. This thing weights a ton. And the included steamer is a valuable bonus too. We had been boiling corn on the cob all season until we remembered the steamer insert. We now steam it - it's faster and the corn tastes better.

If you're on the fence, buy this pot. You will not be disappointed. ...more info
  • Excellent Pot
This pot is a made in China All Clad product, not just the lid, but the entire pot. This, however doesn't take away from the usefulness or value of this set. The double inserts are excellent and allow you to easily steam different items from seafood to veggies. It adds a great deal of versatility to be able to boil pasta and steam vegetables in the smaller insert. Stockpots are also different than frying, saute, or other pots in that the heat conductivity in boiling or steaming just isn't as critical as frying or stir frying, so the bottom coat instead of the standard triple layer of other All-Clad cookware does not detract from this item. It's an excellent stockpot and will serve well for a lifetime. ...more info
  • Don't be fooled!
This is a good product, but not what I was expecting when I ordered it. Don't be fooled, this stockpot is not from the regular line of Stainless products by All-Clad. It's from a lesser-quality line of products. The walls are thinner and it just seems to be of less overall quality than the regular All-Clad products (which are fantastic in my opinion!) Mounted on the bottom of the pan is another piece of metal for conduction (totally unlike regular All-Clad, but just like Emerilware). For the price it is a good product, but if you want true All-Clad quality hold out for the more expensive version....more info
  • A GREAT DEAL!
Yes, this item is indeed a bit inferior when compared with All-Clad's Stainless line, but do not let this dissuade you from choosing this product.
When comparing this multi-cooker to similar ones, you'll find that the quality far supersedes many of them, and the price cannot be beat. I recently spotted this same item (All-Clad product #59912) at a major department store for TWICE Amazon's price!
Don't expect the stainless you may be familiar with from All-Clad and you won't be disappointed. However, if you're expecting the thin, easily-dented stockpots common to many kitchenware stores, you'll be pleasantly surprised!...more info
  • Great value but a different kind of All-Clad
This is an incredible value, considering you get the lid, the pot, and the two baskets at a great price. It performs very well and is a welcome addition to an All-Clad set. However, it is not the same quality as the rest of my All-Clad's. As an example, the lid is made of the same type of steel as my other lids, however, it is thinner....more info
  • Nicely done...
Just tried the All-Clad 12 qt multicooker, and I am quite
impressed. Certainly I would have imagined a unit of this
caliber to cost double with All-Clad's name on it. Each
component fits together as it was machined to, caution
removing the lid after boiling as it may seal tightly. I
prepared chicken fettucine with broccoli for four just with
this one pot. Boiling the chicken stock first, then adding
the pasta to the basket and the broccoli (spears included)
to the upper basket. Cleanup was much easier than I had
expected... the pot (barely) fit under the faucet, and
the baskets fit into the dishwasher. Thanks to All-Clad
for a lid that reverses well, It actually fits on the 13"
shelf in the cabinet beneath the counter. A true kitchen find
    for the price!...more info
  • "Teaser delivers"
I have had one of these All Clad "teaser" sets for years and use it for everything from steaming oysters to cooking stews. The one I ordered recently was a birthday gift for a friend who admired mine. I am getting ready to order three more as Christmas gifts for sons and son-in-law, all of who appreciate good quality cooking utensils.All-Clad 3-Piece Stainless Steel Steamer Set...more info
  • Nice product, but not like other (U.S. made) All-Clad
Having a number of All Clad products in my kitchen, I was excited to see this stockpot at such a low "close out" price. When it arrived, I was somewhat disappointed to see that it is not the same construction or quality as the other All Clad cookware that I have. When I ordered it, I wondered why this 12 qt pot was priced so much less than other smaller stockpots (and about 1/3 the price of the All Clad pasta cooker), and now I know - this "multi cooker" was not made in the U.S., it was made in China (as is the Emerilware). It seems deceptive (and is disappointing) that this bears the exact same label as the U.S. product and the description gives no indication that it is anything less than the same U.S. made All Clad, which is well known to many of us. However, in fairness, I need to say that priced at under [$$$], this is still one heck of a pot that I will enjoy using, but just be aware that it is a different quality of All Clad cookware....more info
  • WOW! I love this pot!
I recently purchased the All-Clad 12-quart multi-cooker with two inserts, and I could not wish for a more useful addition to my cookware collection. It is a manageable size and weight (even when full), and the inserts make draining a breeze. No more steam burns for this kitchen klutz! The quality is excellent. It performs as advertised and cleaning is easy. I love this pot!...more info
