Product Description

Made to last. Ergonomically designed handle. Special patented meedle w/holes on each side to evenly deliver marinade throughout meat. Hold 1 oz. marinade.

Turkey or chicken, pheasant or duck, beef or lamb, pork or venison--any poultry, meat, or game benefits from being basted from the inside out. With this simple tool, injecting a marinade is foolproof, easy, and quick, and the result is increased flavor and juiciness. The marinade goes into the syringe, and the syringe's needle delivers it precisely where it's needed, with two holes near the needle's tip distributing a marinade in both directions--right and left--simultaneously. Made of plastic and stainless steel, the injector is durable and the clear plastic syringe permits monitoring of the marinade's supply. The injector is 9 inches long, with a 2-1/2-inch needle, and the needle unscrews for easy cleanup. --Fred Brack

  • This Thing Put Me In the hospital for 3 Weeks!
Well, I purchased this item from Wal-Mart a few months ago, and well I just feel like I should warn any potential buyers. I was extremely EXCITED to inject my homemade teriyaki sauce (ask me for the recipe!!!) into my beef roll, BUT ran into a HUGE problem. I had the marinade all loaded up and was on my merry way injecting the meat when the injector slipped and stabbed me in the hand!! About 3mL of marinade was injected into my left hand, it hurt like a motherf#%$&@!!! My wife rushed me to the hospital where I sat for over 4 hours waiting to be seen. During this time, I became light-headed, nauseated, and eventually lost consciousness. Apparently my marinade is not meant for intravenous consumption. After regaining consciousness and having my hand thoroughly cleaned, I thought I was going to be fine. BUT I was wrong. 2 days later I became so sick with diarreah and vomiting, that I returned to the hospital only to find that e. coli had made its way into my bloodstream via the injector. This was the last straw. I told my wife to go home and destroy the injector, I did not want anything like this to happen again to anyone in my home! I told her to be "extra careful" while she was taking care of business.

I hope this is a good warning for anyone looking to buy this....more info
  • Really does the trick!
I wanted an injector, but didn't want to shell out the $30 for the steel version. I used this during Thanksgiving on my turkey and leg of lamb. It is by far the best injector I've used. I used to use a baster with a needle screwed into the tip-- no more. The syringe design made injecting spices a breeze! Also the 2 hole design makes sure you get an even distribution of your spices. Btw make sure you put a drop of vegatable oil in the injector for lubrication. I recommend this highly!...more info
  • No more dry, tough or tasteless meat...
I saw this product a few years ago on a TV shopping channel and decided to purchase it. This is without question one of my most frequently used kitchen products. You will never have to worry about dry, tough or tasteless meat again. It is hard to imagine eating poultry without an injected cajun marinade. I have given several of these as gifts and everyone has commented on how much it changed their eating habits. Marinating meat without injecting it produces marginal results as the marinade can never penetrate more than 1/4" into the meat. Now you can have the full flavor of your favorite marinade throughout your beef, pork or poultry. You are limited only by your imagination and you will absolutely love and USE this product!...more info

  • NOT SO GOOD
I tried it because it was cheap and I paid the price. Like others, it broke on the third use, too bad because the first two uses turned out incredible chicken and pork. ...more info
  • Buy the stainless steel version if you can....
I've had 3 of the plastic ones, took each one back within 2 weeks because the cylinder cracked. Finally spent about 10 bucks more and went for the "Chef Williams Signature Series" injector. Stainless steel and it hold 2 ounces of marinade. This is one of the slickest barbecue toys I own, gets the flavor deep into whatever I cook and looks like it will outlast me....more info
  • Please... don't waste your money!
Deluxe?? I would hate to see the non-deluxe version! Just two injections into my greatly anticipated New Year's ham... and it broke!! I directly contacted the manufacturer numerous times, but got no response. If you want to use the injection method of cooking (and I highly recommend it), spend a little more money and get a truly deluxe model (i.e., non-plastic).

"Chef Williams" marinade products are fabulous, but the company should be ashamed ot themselves for trying to pass off this injector as a "quality" product. If you try to use this injector you will probably never know how good the injection method can be!

One last word of warning... Should you still decide to purchase this product, please be sure you have anternate game plan. Trust me, most injectable marinades are only good IF they are actually injected!!...more info

  • The Perfect Turkey Tool
This injector was so easy to use. It made my Thanksgiving meal a huge success. The turkey was so flavorful and moist and juicy-even the white meat. Also, I have found this injector to be very sturdy. I have used others and either the holes were too small or the plungers were stiff or they just broke. This one is great....more info
  • Never a Dry Piece of Meat Again
I have used this Deluxe Marinade Injector for every chicken and turkey I've cooked in the last year. It is fantastic. It makes everything so juicy and tender and flavorful. I use it all the time....more info
  • Disposable marinade injector?
To make a long story short, it stopped being functional after 6 months. As stated in other reviews, the union between the plastic and metal needle attachment breaks down and leaks very fast. Maybe it is modeled after disposable injectors? Anyway, if you are short on cash, and plan to use it few times, and throw it away, maybe it is Ok, for the regular user go buy a steel one as i did. ...more info
  • Mountain biker turkey injector
I suppose my review is somewhat missleading, as I used this product to inject Stans Notube sealant into my mountain bike tires.

It worked great for that. Not sure about how it would fair on a turkey. ...more info
  • This is such a hoot and a poke.
the coolest tool and well made. Can be used for the toughest of basting jobs to anything that can be squeezed through it....more info
