Fresh or frozen, regular or rising crust, exclusive RotaBake(TM) technology assures great tasting pizza every time. Freezer to perfect in minutes with no preheating. Special control lets you make toppings as bubbly and crusts as crispy as you like.
This 1,235-watt countertop oven makes pizza in about half the time required by a conventional oven. You don't need to preheat it--it begins rotating and baking the moment you plug it in. There are independently controlled top and bottom heating elements, so all types (frozen or fresh) and sizes (7 to 12 inches) of pizza can be custom baked. With a rising-crust pizza, for example, you should run the lower heating element for 10-12 minutes before turning on the top element. For a crisper crust, bake the pizza with both heating elements, then finish it off with a few minutes of bottom-only heating. For extra cooking time on your toppings, leave the top element on a little longer. A timer with automatic shutoff lets you set cooking times precisely, and a cooking-time guide for various pizza types is printed on the pizza maker. For safety, the appliance shuts off automatically if it overheats. With the 13-1/4-inch-diameter baking pan in place, the pizza maker is 13-1/4 inches wide, 9-1/2 inches high, and 17-1/2 inches deep. (The baking pan can be removed for more compact storage.) It carries a two-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

This unit works great. Cooks frozen pizza evenly and with a crisp crust. We cook the pizza longer than recommended, 16 minutes, and it turns out just the way we like it. I only wish you could use it to reheat pizza....more info
- Must have appliance!
The Pizzazz Pizza Oven is hands down the best appliance I own. I've had it for over 3 years now. I haven't written a review until I used it today and again was blown away by how good it is. It's not just for pizza. Any appetizer's you may have, potato skins, pizza rolls, they all work on this thing. It cooks everything to perfection. Pizza in the normal over, gas or electric, always ends up too crisp, burnt, too soft, burnt cheese.....you name it. Not to mention waiting for pre-heat to do it's thing, just wastes time and electricity. No Pre-heating for this thing, and it cooks the food fast and perfect everytime! Cleaning the pan is a bit of a pain, but who cares about that when you have perfectly cooked pizza?! A must have!!!...more info
- Well worth the money
This item cooks pizza perfectly and it's portable. We use it at our lake getaway. Try a DiGorno in it their the best. Tried it the first time at a bar and had to have one. Worth the money!...more info
- Love, love, love it!!!!
I got this as a gift, and will admit that I was skeptical about it, but now that I have it I would never give it up. And, quite frankly, I am stunned by some of the negative reviews for this product. I like that I don't spend 15 minutes waiting for an oven to pre-heat. Just turn it on and away it goes. I have not had any trouble with uneven cooking like some reviews have indicated. The center was just as done as the edges. I will say that I turned on just the top element for a couple of minutes after the pizza was done cooking because I like my cheese crispier.
Clean-up was a breeze - just wipe off with a damp cloth. The only drawback that I can think of is that you can't cut the pizza on the tray that it cooks on so you have another dish to clean. But that is such a small issue in my mind.
I have also cooked other things besides pizza with success - garlic bread slices, cheese bread slices and quesadillas are three that worked well. It also works VERY well to re-heat pizza. ...more info
- good, but.................
This works great for thin crust pizza. Out of the freezer, 12-14 minutes. Does not work on thick crust or stuffed pizza at all. We tried twice and after 40 minutes the pizza was still very cold inside and we had to transfer it to the oven. That being said, my kids prefer thin crust and that is what I make nine times out of ten. Pizza is always evenly cooked.
My main complaint with this appliance is storage. It is quite large and takes up too much counter space to leave out but also hard to store. So far, I have boxed the item back up after each use and put the box in a storage closet. ...more info
- We love it!
We liked it so much that we just bought one for our son and his girlfriend. It is so easy to use and you can add your own extras if you want. My husband always adds extra pepperoni....more info
- Home Pizzaria
Although this is not a "pizzoven", we were pleasantly suprised at the results we've had with the unit. Experiments with both refrigerated pizza dough and "Mama Mary's"tm pre-cooked pizza crusts have been done, with a slight edge going to pre-cooked crusts. Experimenting with your favorite toppings, and playing with cooking methods and times will yield decent results. For good pizza made at home, this is a pretty slick appliance. ...more info
- Very good purchase
I got this item for my Husband, well actually for the whole family. We have pizza night once a week so I thought this would be a nice investment. The pizza's we have made so far have turned out wonderfully, the topping and crust baked just perfectly. Definitely something I would recommend to a pizza lover. ...more info
- Pizzazz pizza is perfect
I've been experimenting with the Pizzazz oven and scratch pizza for six months. The pizza is superior to anything served at a pizzeria because the home baker can use high quality ingredients and you can't beat the convenience. This is a bread machine crust recipe, dough cycle.
Basic Pizza dough: 12" pizza
1/2 C Water, room temperature or ice cold
1 Tsp Instant yeast/bread machine yeast
1 Tbs Vegetable or olive oil
1-1/2 C Flour: Bread or semolina flour, or combine the two.
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Sugar
Finely ground white cornmeal
Add water, yeast, oil, flour, and remaining ingrediest to pan in listed order. After 10 mins., check for consistency. Add small amount of water or flour as needed. Punch down the dough when cycle complete, if machine does not have a punchdown cycle. Sprinkle a little flour onto the work surface and shape the dough into a round ball by lifting up the edges all around and tucking them into the center. Sprinkle some cornmeal onto the work surface and press the ball into a disk. Depending on skill, the dough can be gently stretched to a 12" circle and placed on towel-supported bake pan, or placed on bake pan and evenly pressed and patted into a 12" circle. To increase crust crispness, lightly grease the bake pan.
Very important! Prick the entire surface of the dough except the edge with a fork at 1/2" intervals. To increase browning and crispness to the outer crust edges, brush lightly with oil (or see below).
At this stage the crust can be allowed to rise for an "aged" Sicilian style crust, or add toppings and bake immediately. If oil sprayer available, lightly spray entire pizza with oil. Set on Dual and bake for 10 mins. DO NOT TURN OVEN OFF. Carefully lift edge of pizza with non-metal spatula or tongs to check for doneness. Bottom should be a medium-brown. Continue baking another 5 mins. Check bottom again. If the bottom is browned to your preference, turn off Lower element and continue baking until the top and edges are baked to your preference. This pizza takes about 16-20 mins. depending on ingredients and room environment. When done, remove from baking pan immediately with spatula or tongs to a platter or pizza pan. Allow to rest for 3-5 mins. before cutting. For two 12" pizzas, just double the recipe, divide the dough, and place one ball in a plastic covered container and refrigerate until ready to use. The dough can also be wrapped and frozen. To clean pan: When cool, spray or wipe with household cleaner and leave it on for at least 20 mins. Scrub with a nylon pad only. Never allow metal objects to come in contact with the bake pan. Store pan in a plastic bag to prevent scratching and marring of the bake surface. If the bake surface should become scratched or marred, always grease it before use and the pan will "cure" over time. Actually, commercial baking pans are cured this way.
Good luck and happy pizza eating!
TIP: Frozen prepared store pizza baking can be speeded up by defrosting the pizza for about 15-20 seconds in the microwave. Do not overdefrost or you will wind up with a rubber crust.
- 3 years and still going strong
We purchased one of these about 3 years ago after reading all of the positive reviews. It is by far the most frequently used of our kitchen gadgets, and still sees use at least once or twice a week - pizzas, chicken nuggets, and tater tots are the most common targets. One tip I'd suggest is to buy some Reynold's Release nonstick foil and trim a 12 x 12 inch sheet to fit the circular baking pan before each use; this makes clean up effortless, and you'll never have to worry about scratching the (not really) nonstick surface. The only other way to improve it would be a slightly larger pan, since larger pizzas won't fit....more info
- Works as advertised
When I first looked at this it reminded me of one of those gadgets you see on late night TV, "But WAIT, there's MORE.." I was skeptical but I bought it because I got it at a very good price (shh, on eBay).
What a surprise when I tried it for the first time. Not only does it work but it works really well. It takes an average $5 store bought pizza and does a better job than a standard oven. If you use one of the higher end pizzas, especially one with a rising crust, you are in for a real treat. Basically you just turn it on, choose the settings (which are printed on the back so you don't have to remember what to do for which sort of pizza) and forget it. There is one trick to placing the pizza tray. There are 2 little curved guides under the heating element. By placing the tray on these guides before lowering the tray you can place it properly without much bother.
Since buying the Pizzazz I now make more pizzas than before. It does a better job than an oven and with less fuss and less energy. This is a perfect gift for college students. I've got twins who are starting college in the Fall and they will be taking one with them. ...more info
- YOU HAVE TO TRY IT IF YOU HAVE KIDS
I FIRST BOUGHT ONE FIVE YEARS AGO. MY SON WAS 12 AND THIS WAY HE COULD COOK PIZZA WHEN I WASNT HOME. EVEN IF HE FOGETS ABOUT IT, WHEN THE TIMER GOES OFF IT SHUTS THE COOKING ELEMENT OFF AND JUST TURNS AND WARMS. GREAT FOR TEENAGERS AND WHEN YOU DONT WANT TO PREHEAT YOUR OVEN. I HAVE SINCE BOUGHT 2 MORE FOR GIFTS....more info

AT FIRST WAS VERY UNSURE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. IN INTRODUCTION,MY WIFE AND I LIVE IN A 5TH WHEEL RV FOR 6 MONTHS OF THE YEAR. RV'S DO NOT HAVE A GOOD OVEN FOR BAKING PIZZA. SAW THIS PRODUCT ON TV, HAD DOUBTS BUT TRIED ONE, LOVED IT. AFTER WE RETURNED HOME, WE LEFT THE FIRST UNIT IN THE RV AND PURCHASED AN ADDITIONAL FOR HOME - WHICH DOES HAVE A GREAT OVEN. THE PIZZAZZ FOR US COOKS THE PIZZA TO PERFECTION. IT HAS TWO CONTROLLS ONE FOR THE UPPER AND ONE FOR THE BOTTOM AND ONE FOR BOTH UPPER AND LOWER. WE LIKE THE UNIT SO MUCH THAT WE HAVE STARTED GIVING IT AS CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND BIRTHDAYS. ALL I CAN SAY IS TRY IT, YOU WILL LIKE IT!!!!!!...more info
- Our family loves it!
I purchased this unit last year for a family Pizza party and have used it at least once a week since. It is by far the most used gadget I have ever had, and I purchased 6 more this year as Christmas gifts. Walmart was selling it for $39.99, as was Amazon last month, so you might want to wait for a sale....more info
- Never use the oven for frozen pizza again.
We've had our Pizzazz for several years now and I just love it. I wouldn't dream of putting a frozen pizza in the oven, ever again. The Pizzazz Pizza Oven won't transform your Red Baron into a pie from the pizzeria downtown, but it will taste so much better than your normal, boring ol' frozen pizza.
The pizza tray is non-stick and easy to clean. Its dimpled design leaves the crust light and airy, much tastier than if it had come from the oven. But for some reason our tray likes to fall to the side, sending the pizza into the heating element or sliding off altogether. To remedy this we place a bowl at the front of the tray to act as extra support and remain nearby while it's cooking. Perhaps this is a flaw that has been fixed in more recent versions. We purchased ours when they first came onto the market.
One suggestion, as others have noted, would be a larger tray to accommodate those take-and-bake pizzas like Papa Murphy's. That being said, this little bugger gets a lot of use at our house because it makes delicious pizza in a snap. We've had it for several years and it's still holding up strong.
Tasting is believing.
- love it
presto pizza cooker is amazing. we love it. no more heating up kitchen. no more $40 takeout pizza...more info
- Cooks a better pizza or cooks the BEST pizza?
The answer to that riddle is the latter. It cooks the pizza 100% in 15-20 minutes with NO preheat time. The crust is prefect, the toppings are prefect. It saves energy from having to keep an oven on for 25-30 minutes and it also saves energy on hot days by putting out less heat to the house than an oven thus making the air conditioner or heat pump work less. Clean up is a snap, it's just the pan it sits on. Usually its just crumbs from the crust, if anything. Sometimes some cheese will fall on there, but its not hard at all to clean. The key to keeping it clean is to remove the pan from the Pizzazz when the pizza is done and then sliding the pizza back on to the cardboard provided with the frozen pizza. If you want your frozen pizza to taste better than delivery and taste like a true pizzeria, you owe it to yourself, and your family to buy this Presto Pizzazz!...more info

- Good product, works well
This little Pizza oven works great! I have tried both store-bought frozen and store-bought chilled pre-made pizzas, both rising-crust and crispy crust. I made some from scratch, and tried it with plain home made foccacia bread. Easy to clean (usually none required), doesn't heat up the kitchen. Crust browns nicely, toppings cook to perfection. You can't go wrong with this appliance! ...more info
