According to a report in the Kansas City Star, the school district of West Platte, Mo., is seeking a $2.5 million bond that would cover safety and maintenance upgrades at school facilities, as well as a new exercise facility for wrestling and coaches.

In addition to a variety of safety and repair projects, the addition of a CCTV surveillance camera system would be covered as part of the school bond. It is not known whether the school has decided upon a security contractor yet.
