Experience: 3 Weeks

Strengths: very easy to use

Weaknesses: I havent noticed any weaknesses so far

Summary: I found this memory stick to be the best deal overall. Its not a big deal that you have to flip some of the others over, but it's just one less step. I can record at least 90 minutes of video using this stick with my camera. So far this has been a good investment for me. (I use it with my a Sony DSC-P52 camera).

Strengths: Has contiguous memory and you do not need to switch manually Has locking system which is sometimes useful Data storage operations is faster

Weaknesses: Some of the older handhelds and digital cameras are not compatible with Pro version, so doesn't work for older devices. Probably should some up with a small paper label on the disk.

Summary: We are happy and recommend buying this product. We are using in Sony Handheld TJ37 and data operations are faster and you don't need of switching A/B side like some other memory sticks as the memory is contiguous. It comes with a case for storage. We are satisfied with the product.

Strengths: fast, reliable

Weaknesses: none

Summary: The Sandisk memory stick pro card is fast and reliable. It appears to be equal in quality to the the memory stick pro card that came with my digital camera. The Sandisk card is more competitively priced than the original equipment card.

Strengths: Stylin, trouble-free. I also use it with a USB adapter as a general purpose portable but clunky storage.

Weaknesses: Sony Memory Stick is a proprietary format, but I received a Sony camera requiring it as a gift.

Summary: I think SDMSV256A10 is the same product (same specs, manufacturer) in a different color; check prices on both, and the Sony version - a rebate could always make it cheaper. I got mine for $64-a $15 rebate from SanDisk.
Bought from eCost, who has been spamming me ever since.
Be sure to get the PRO IFF your device can handle it. Old equipment can't, new equipment benefits vs. non-PRO (with which you flip a switch to access 2 128MB memory areas.)

Strengths: styling is very attractive

Weaknesses: none found

Summary: This memory stick is as good if not better quality than the other memory sticks on the market. The feature that holds it apart from the others is the lower price.

Strengths: Excellent Size, Speed and Capacity...

Weaknesses: Not backwards compatable with older devices

Summary: This product is much better over the Original Memory Stick. It's a whole lot quicker and works great in the newer Sony Digital Camera's! I currently own one of these but am planning to purchase another one in the next few months. I would highly reccommend this product to anyone that wants good storage capacity at a great price yet not sacrifice speed and durability!

Strengths: Works just fine although I used it only for one day. Holds 3 pictures more than the 256MB memory stick made by SONY. The price is relatively good.

Weaknesses: Non that I know of.

Summary: The memory stick is fully comatible with my SONY DSC-P92 digital still camera. It holds 94 pictures rather than just 91 pictures as the 256MB SONY memory stick does, and it even costs less. Moreover it is sold inside a nice carrying case.

Strengths: Some of the 256mb sticks are x2 style which forces you to use a switch to access two 128mb cards. This one is one 256mb stick.

Weaknesses: Need writeable surface to label.

Summary: Very good product at a pretty decent price. Using it on my Sony Cybershot DSC-P32 and it works great. Some of the older handhelds and digital cameras are not compatible with Pro version, so you can not take advantage of the extra security.

Strengths: Lower price alternative to "Sony" MemoryStick. Can record 43 minutes of 320x160 mpeg on my Sony DCR-TRV22 camcorder.

Weaknesses: None to date.

Summary: Great Price, Right Product. Complete functionality of "Sony" MemoryStick at a fraction of the price. As noted above, able to record full motion 320x160 mpeg files directly on the 256MB MemoryStick with no tape in the camcorder. It's great. Put the MemoryStick into my media reader and copy to PC or email and share with family and friends.

Strengths: Best bang for the buck~

Weaknesses: (Except it's not from Sony)

Summary: (Edited May 04th by winnke) This Sandisk memory stick is perfect for digital camera. I record up to 3 hours of *.mpeg. Best of all, it works just the same as the one from Sony, except this one saves you around $10.

Strengths: 256mb for the price of a sony 256 pro

Weaknesses: generic name

Summary: I use this san disk 256mb memory stick in my sony clie PEG-NX70V. It can store over 100 pictures from my the song clie digital camara. Its well worth the price I paid for this memory stick rather then buying a sony 256mb memory stick at best buy. This "pro" model is quicker then regular memory sticks.
