Description: A small, light bag - redesigned - loves to travel. Now the Nova 2 AW has great looks; hi-tech materials; and our famous All Weather Cover to protect gear from the elements, even dust and torrential rain. Includes a customizable interior; O.Reviewed by: foobarz from PA on Dec 24, 2004

Strengths: Very convenient for travelling or everyday. Big enough for SLR with a compact zoom lens, plus an external flash and 70-200/f4, or another long zoom DC. AW is a nice feature. Very solid build.
Weaknesses: Not big enough to hold a 70-200/f2.8 lens. If you are looking for a bag to hold this lens, find another one.
Summary: I choose this over the other brands mostly because it's for outdoor use (travelling etc.), its "All Weather" feature is extremely beneficial. There's plenty of room in the bag, and I feel satisfied with its capacity (except that I cannot put the 70-200/f2.8 inside - a minor drawback). The bag is very solid and well-constructed, and protects the equipments inside quite well. I feel very comfortable wearing it on my shoulder. I think I will use it more frequently than my backpack given its convenience and capacity.
If you are looking for a small-to-mid size bag for on-the-move photography, I'd recommend the Nova 2 AW.

Strengths: COMPACT, WELL CONSRUCTED, CAN FIT A DIGITAL WITH EXTENSION PLUS ADDITONAL LENSES AND ALL THE GADGETS YOU NEED. WEATHERPROOF WHICH IS A VERY GOOD FEATURE. CAN BE CARRIED OVER THE SHOULDER OR STRAPPED
Summary: WELL CONSTRUCTED, PLENTY OF ROOM, GREAT FEATURES, WEATHERPROOF, EASY TO CARRY. I PARTICULARLY ENJOYED THE ABILITY TO CARRY IT OVER THE SHOULDER AND STRAP IT TO MY WAIST AS CONDITIONS CALL FOR. I AM ABLE TO PUT NOT ONLY THE CAMERA IN THE CASE BUT LENSES AND A FLASH UNIT WITHOUT FEAR OF THE ITEMS COLLIDING. IT ALSO HAS A SECURE LATCH ON THE COVER AS OPPOSED TO THOSE THAT HAVE VELCRO LATCHES. THE CAMERA STAYS INSIDE WHILE ON THE MOVE OR WHEN BENDING OVER.
THIS IS A RUGGED CAMERA CASE THAT PROTECTS AND CARRIES THE ITEMS YOU NEED.

Strengths: Space, Solid construction, Space, Weather Proof, Space,
Weaknesses: Front pockets can be awkward
Summary: I wanted a bag I could use for travel that would hold both my digital camera and camcorder. I have an HP850 camera and an Optura 30 Camcorder. Both fit with space for cables, batteries, tapes, SD cards and room to spare. The bag is very comfortable and would not bother me had I to have to carry it around all day. There was still room for keys and a wallet, which was nice when going through the airport. The all weather feature is a nice bonus to keep everthing dry if the weather turns bad. I also think it is a nice security feature that you can zip and latch the top closed so you don't feel like to have to have eyes in the back of your head watching it.
The only issue I have found thus far is that there is no dedicated storage for AA batteries. There are elastic pockets in the front pouch that do the trick but they are sometimes a little reluctant to let the batteries go.
All in all I would recommend this bag to anyone who has a larger storage need or wants to consolidate several smaller units.
The picture above does not appear to be current. I would recommend going to the manufacturers web site to see the current model.
