Interview Opportunity - Australian 25 Year Partnership Story

Rare Spares is a partnership that has lasted longer than most modern day marriages. From a company started in the basement of a suburb in Melbourne Rare Spares is now a $40 million business.

May 3, 2005 -- The owners of Rare Spares are celebrating their 25 year anniversary as partners. Having been in a partnership for longer than most modern day marriages is a feat enough, but to top this off is how the company started, in the bottom of a basement in a suburb in Melbourne. What makes this a monumental achievement is that now Rare Spares has grown into a nation wide $40 million business.

Not only do the Partners still have an active part in the company but they are still good friends and the trust honesty and integrity that they show each other are reflected throughout the company. Although the four partners originally had very limited business experience it was their love for cars, the desire and drive to succeed that has created the foundation of their success.

Rare Spares offer a unique service in the automotive aftermarket, and are the largest supplier of original spare parts for the older model Holden's and Ford's. Not only are they a manufacturer and distributor but they are also a retailer.
