InGaAs Photodetector Array suits NIR spectroscopy.

November 19, 2001 09:07 - Model ISC0007-GS1024 1024 x 1 array includes readout integrated circuit, InGaAs detectors, and bump-bonded hybridization. It provides spatial resolutions and dynamic ranges to meet DWDM optical quality monitoring demands, and allows complete elimination of temperature stabilization without performance degradation. Array is available in standard package (GS), unpackaged (GU), or full custom package configurations.

First Of Its Kind 1024 x 1 Linear InGaAs Array

Santa Barbara, CA - October 3, 2001 - Indigo Systems Corporation has announced the introduction of the world's first 1024 x 1 linear InGaAs photodetector array for telecommunication and NIR spectroscopy applications. This breakthrough device doubles the resolution of the most sophisticated devices available in the industry. Like Indigo's 512 x 1 and 256 x 1 devices, the ISC0007-GS1024 combines Indigo's own readout integrated circuit, InGaAs detectors, and bump-bonded hybridization techniques, all manufactured in-house. The exclusive 1024 x 1 array is specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of DWDM optical quality monitoring providing both ultra-high spatial resolution and super-wide dynamic range. These important attributes enable DWDM sub-system manufacturers the ability to combine multiple optical quality measurements into single instruments. It also incorporates Indigo's proprietary ¦̀Bias and Pixelect technologies, allowing complete elimination of temperature stabilization without performance degradation, resulting in significant reductions in physical size and system power requirements. Indigo offers the ISC0007 in standard package (GS), unpackaged (GU), or full custom package configurations.
