Las Vegas, NV October 25, 2004 -- As the election enters the final two weeks, candidates are adding new stump speeches to gain support in critical battleground states. From the time the White House called, Image Events Worldwide had just seven days - or 168 hours - to ready President Bush's rally for 16,000 on October 14, 2004 at Rancho San Rafael Park in Reno, Nevada.

The campaign trail is a grueling exercise for the candidates with long travel times, multiple city stops and highly concentrated work to prepare for their speeches. President Bush's Reno rally was held just one day after his third and final debate with U.S. Senator John Kerry.

"In order for us to produce a Presidential Rally in a short seven days, our team assembled in our war rooms in our three offices located in Reston, VA, Las Vegas, NV, and San Diego, CA, to review the setup, determine any new requirements and produced a hit list of men and materials," stated Len Piotrowski, Executive Producer, Image Events Worldwide. "From the time we received the green light, our operations manager was on the phone pulling the apparatus together."

Three days before the event the Image Events Worldwide team arrived on location with the advance team to prep the rally site. Since this was an outdoor Presidential Speech, we poured concrete to anchor the press TV cameras, erected bleachers, created an eight foot safety buffer zone, hung bunting and signage, built 3,500 feet of security fencing and an additional 3.500 feet of perimeter fencing, loaded in lighting and sound as well as set the site so that the press could pick up the "Presidential imagery" when shooting for TV and print.

"A wealth of surveys have stated the election is close and heading into the final two weeks getting closer, with President Bush concentrating time and money on a dozen or so battleground states," said Robert Bottoms, Executive Producer, Image Events Worldwide. "It's critical that we are perfect so that our work doesn't negatively affect the outcome of the election. And since we have been working with the West Wing, we have never had an event failure, not one."
