Fiber-Optic Converters send video signals up to 3,300 ft

Breakthrough: Send Video Signals up to 3,300 Feet!

Older technology limited PC video signals to about 500 ft. Now
CyberResearch offers fiber-optic converters that stretch the limit to 3,300 ft. for video and 1,640 ft. for camera signals. Both DVE 1000 video extenders (shown) and CLE 500 camera extenders use matched converters to switch between electronic and optical signals.

New DVE 1000 extenders from CyberResearch, Inc. allow you to locate either monitors or projectors up to 3,300 feet away from their host computers. Connect monitors and computers with VESA DVI-D cables; connect transmitters and receivers with our CFSM simplex fiber-optic cables.

DVE 1000 video extenders effectively eliminate restrictions on monitor and projector placement. This enhances computer security by allowing computers to be located in secure areas, away from people on shop and laboratory floors. In addition, the computers themselves are protected because they are farther
from the shock, vibration, dirt, and other hazards common to shops and laboratories.

CLE 500 camera extenders offer similar benefits to systems that include either machine-vision or security cameras. It's easier to put computers and cameras in their ideal locations without compromising resolution or security.

In addition to DVE and CLE extenders -now shipping from stock -
CyberResearch, Inc., also offers industrial PCs and workstations, as well as CPU cards, data-acquisition, and motion-control systems. For more information, call Joe Tetreault at 800-341-2525, or visit www.cyberresearch.com.
