CACI Licenses Rosette Modules for Language Identification, Unicode Enablement, and Chinese, English and Arabic Analysis
Cambridge, MA March 30, 2005 -- Basis Technology today announced that CACI has licensed its Rosette Linguistics Platform? for integration into the HighView DOCEX Suite, a document exploitation and management system. DOCEX Suite uses advanced technology to improve the ability to organize, translate, and analyze captured information in virtually all formats and many languages.

- Rosette Core Library for Unicode, for enabling conversions between legacy encodings and Unicode;
- Rosette Base Linguistics, for analyzing documents in Chinese, English and Arabic;
- Rosette Entity Extractor, for identifying named entities in Chinese, English and Arabic documents; and,
- Rosette Arabic Transliterator, for helping English-only speakers search for names and other proper nouns in Arabic documents.
