Monitor your home or business while you're away over your wireless network. D-Link's DCS-5300W Wireless Network Camera is a full-featured stand-alone surveillance system that can be used with any wired or wireless router to connect to a wireless 802.11b Ethernet or Fast Ethernet Network to provide remote high-quality audio and 4x digital zoom for closer viewing. The DCS-5300W Network Camera has a motorized pan and tilt function that can expand your viewing area to cover a wide 270กใ angle side to side and a 90กใ angle up and down. This can be controlled with a PC from any location or locally using the included infrared remote control.
The DCS-5300W Wireless Network Camera is a powerful surveillance system that connects wirelessly to your 802.11b network. Featuring enhanced 802.11b, the DCS-5300W Wireless Network Camera connects with a maximum wireless signal rate of up to 22 Mbps. The camera has a built-in Web server and can be used with any wired or wireless router. This Web server will allow the camera to access the Internet without being attached to a computer and permits users to monitor the video and audio remotely. You have the option of using the DCS-5300W Wireless Network Camera's integrated microphone or your own external microphone.
The DCS-5300W Wireless Network Camera supports Universal Plug & Play and DDNS. UPnP will allow users of Windows XP and Me to install the camera with the click of a mouse, and DDNS allows the camera to use an easier-to-remember naming format rather than an IP address. A PC user inside or outside your network will have access to the camera through the Internet Explorer browser. You can provide up to twenty accounts for other users, but multiple visitors may share the same account.
Program a weekly schedule for your camera. You can decide when and how often snapshots are taken or after how many seconds following triggered events. You can even send snapshots by email or FTP automatically following events or on a scheduled basis. The fixed focus glass lens will facilitate the providing of crystal clear and sharp images, even on a full-screen display. You can view up to 30 frames per second of live motion video with 380 TV lines of resolution. The included surveillance software allows you to view up to 16 cameras simultaneously. Images can be monitored and recorded to a hard drive.
The DCS-5300W Wireless Network Camera comes with an A/V output to connect to your TV for local viewing or to your VCR to record activities directly to a VHS tape.
