Strengths: Fast. Kingston is a trusted brand at a very competitive price (was $41 when I bought it, should be pennies by the time you read this!)

Weaknesses: Difficult to determine how fast it is before buying.

Summary: Using my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ3 3.2MP camera set on fast continuous stills, this 512MB SD memory card accepts about 300 ~1MB (2016 horizontal pixels on the high resolution jpg setting) images at the rate of over 1/second. When I bought it, I considered spending more to buy the "high speed" version of the card (this camera benefits from it), but since I don't plan to use the camera for high resolution movies, decided to save my money. As it turns out, the camera's large high speed buffer accepts 7 such images at 4/sec, which is more than enough to get a good shot if there is one. I can't tell whether the puny 8MB Panasonic SD card that came with the camera is "high speed," but it performed no faster in this camera. I've accidentally taken a couple of movies, and while I haven't tried to figure out how to do it right, they looked like it would be worth the effort with this card in this camera should I ever decide to pursue it. Using the camera's USB 2.0 port, downloads from this card keep ahead of my ability to click and scroll through them. I haven't tested it's durability or reliability, but so far I'm completely satisfied with this card.

Strengths: Great price at online store for amount of memory

Weaknesses: None yet

Summary: I originally wanted to get the 1GB card but the online store was out of stock. This card would provide enough memory for my digital camera on an upcoming trip. I already tried it out with a couple of pics and they seem to load much quicker than the standard card that came with the camera. Can't complain because cost will actually be less than $40 after rebate

Although it takes longer time to transfer files between PC and SD card through the card readers, Kingston SD so far have given me no errors or reliability problems. Highly recommended for the budget!!!

Weaknesses: none so far

Summary: What can you say about an SD card other than it works? Well this one does. No problems, does what it is supposed to. Good price for 1/2 a gig. No problems with speed as some have complained about. Using it mostly for MP3s on a Palm Tungsten E. Card speed has not been a problem. Tunes play smoothly.....

Strengths: Lifetime warranty, value, Kingston name

Weaknesses: I have not noticed any yet

Summary: I purchased this card partly because of the Kingston name and the value of the product, there was also a $ 15 rebate which was an added bonus. I purchased this for my Nikon Cool Pix 3200 Digital camera. With the 512mb card I can take well over 400 pictures and a few hours of video at the lower resolution. The camera required the card to be initialized and the Kingston card worked perfectly taking a few seconds to intialize it. My only concern is that when I down loaded the pictures from the camera to my Apple iBook (USB 1) it was very slow, it took about 5 minutes to download about 40 pictures and about 5 minutes of video( medium resolution) Since the camera is new I am not sure if this an issue with it or the SD card. I would recommend this card especially if you can get the 15$ rebate.
